Background: Asharra was a military brat that traveled frequently. She moved every two to four years. (Asharra was not her birth name, but a name she picked out of the first book she read upon escaping the hedge. Sharra's Exile, by Marion Zimmer Bradley) Asharra was known to be humorous and full of mischief. Frequently she was considered to be the class clown. Most did not realize it, but frequently her humor was directed at putting other kids/people in their place without both parties concerned noticing. While she was stationed in Germany she quickly adopted this same pattern and was immensely successful. Her teacher was a fae and realized that she would be the perfect addition to his lords court.

So Asharra was lured into the hedge and found herself the court jester for a fae lord. Asharra found herself in the traditional court jester garb and face makeup. (blue,red, and yellow. clothing, hat, and scepter) she realized that she was there to make them laugh and that the fae didn't seem to realize her skill at putting people in their places. so for many years she practiced her wit and tried not to be noticed when she was not performing, so she could observe. She observed and collected information about those in the court and waited till she had enough information to make her escape. Between the information and she realized that she could appear as the image of someone she came into contact with, She was able to impersonate a noble of the court and blackmail the guard to let her go.

When she got out she set herself up as a comedian in Germany. She quickly became popular and went on tour. A year ago she was asked to go on tour across the United States and Canada. Her last stop was here in San Antonio where she was offered a permanent job at the Rivercenter Comedy Club and the possibility of a partnership in the business.
