Basic Timeline:
Augustus was born in San Francisco in Dec. 8, 1931. At the age of four, Augustus and his family left there and moved to Fresno so his father could work on an uncle’s farm. Augustus stayed in school as his father stressed the importance of an education. He did not go into college though, but signed up for the Navy in 1948 with dreams of being a fighter pilot. He trained for two years when the Korean conflict began and he was shipped overseas. There he flew several sorties and shot down over a dozen enemies and within two months was one of the Navy’s best aces. Unfortunately tragedy struck his family and his father was killed in a tractor accident on the family farm in 1953. Augustus was allowed to go home for the funeral, but as he was flying over Lemoore he entered a strange fog and saw several strange lights. Thinking this was the landing lights he followed them. The next morning the wreckage of Augustus’s plane was found, but his body was never recovered. His time in Arcadia he was a diplomat for the Lady of Fog and Dust, delivering messages from her to far off lands. She warped both his mind and body to be that of an conceited, arrogant courtier. If one would not fall sway to his charm and quick wit, then they would fall to his blade. The night Arthur Shiningmane took up arms and the others followed, something stirred in Augustus, the memory of fighting against a tyrant. Following the lead of Arthur he brought down his Mistress and escaped back through the Hedge in 2000.

Background:
A fire burns in Augustus, not only one of hatred and vengeance for those who stole him from his home and family, but of one to be the best. He is a fairest and he knows he is the best. And if everyone else doesn’t know it then it’s their own damn fault. His way is the right way and if someone goes against it, failure is sure to be met. Of course he will then offer to help, after all he does want to help. A lover of challenges, he has traveled the world to conquer it and to show yet again he is the best. From climbing the highest peaks on every continent, to swimming with sharks Augustus has done it. Some may say he is wasting his time and energy and is acting like one from the Spring Court. He disagrees, competition keeps the fire burning inside of him, readying him for any encounter from the Fae.
Augustus is a charming man and strikingly handsome man in his early 30’s. His type of dress changes, casual is just a nice dress shirt and a pair of slacks, more formal is a custom tailored suit. His style is reminiscent of the 40’s and he is never without his fedora. Another thing is never without is a beautiful woman on his arm. If it’s his looks and charm, or the fire that burns within him, something attracts women to him and when out with his motley he gets at least two women’s phone numbers. When asked about this, he reminds everyone of who he is and doesn’t understand why they get it.
