History
Prelude
It was John Lennon who sang ‘All you need is love; love is all you need’. Trite and sentimental as the lyrics sound, Lennon wasn’t wrong. Where love is concerned people are willing to do whatever it takes to acquire it and maintain it. Wealthy businessmen spend vast amounts of money to import brides from foreign nations – all to consummate and finalise the search for love. People are willing to subject themselves to extremes in the name of love. Battered men and women remain with abusive partners because they delude themselves into believing that they love their partner, and that their partner loves them; that it isn’t as bad as we know it to be. Joe Cocker and Jennifer Warnes sang ‘Love lifts us up where we belong’ together. Reminiscent of the joy and exultation one feels when in love; the song exudes a melodic harmony of romance that inspires. It is this quality that is most sought after. The warm embrace of a lover, to know that they will care for you and shield you from the evils of the world. Less spoken of, understandably, is the eventual heartsickness when a union between two individuals shatters. Love itself is thought to be wondrous. These people have not known heartbreak; they have not known the torment and sorrow when love goes awry. When love becomes scorn, when desire becomes hatred, the wonder of love becomes twisted into disgust and repulsion. No longer does the flow of adoration and rapture permeate its subjects, the tempest of agony and desolation overcomes the recipients of heartbreak and those who would put stock in love.

- 1982 - Aurelian is born
- 1987 - Aurelian begins Primary Education.
- 1993 - Aurelian begins Secondary Education.
- 1999 - Aurelian's Secondary Education Ends.
- 1999 - Aurelian is absconded with over the entirety of the summer break between Secondary school ending and Higher education starting. The period feels much longer.
- 2001 - After escaping Arcadia, Aurelian returns with a vengeance and completes his A-Levels achieving A's in Law, Sociology, History and Psychology.
- 2004 - Aurelian graduates with a Degree in Law (LLB) from University of Birmingham.
- 2005 - Aurelian passes the Bar Vocational Course at College of Law in London.
- 2006 - Aurelian begins and ends his pupillage; Aurelian is admitted to the Bar and joins Inner Temple.
- 2006 - Aurelian passes several state bar exams in the United States in order to allow him to act as an Attorney in America.
Recent History
- 2006 - Aurelian returns to Birmingham; he joins a Barrister's Chambers in the City.
- 2007 - Aurelian is involved, as a Defence Barrister, in a case of some profile wherein the Defendant murdered an individual and claimed provocation. The defence was successful and the defendant was convicted of Manslaughter. An empiric victory.
