Known History
Basic Timeline:
Mostly in flux. Roughly, born in 1970, taken in 1987, returned in 2002. Met Myo in Arcadia, and was inspired to escape after she did. Met CJ in 2003, and took him partway into the Hedge to prove that he was Lost, not a coma survivor. After fighting off some hobgoblins, discovered that they really, really liked each other. Ran into Myo again on this side of the Hedge, and gave her crystallized droplets of sap from an Arcadian tree. Joined Spring Court.
Current Activities: Pursuing the good life at the expense of law-abiding mortals and doing the freehold's dirty work.

Background:
Mom and Dad wanted to be upwardly mobile, but could never catch a break. After some shady dealings by Dad's superiors, things got worse. I spent a lot of time holed up in my room, putting thoughts to paper and figuring out life by myself, since it had become clear that my parents were of no help. I figured out that the folks on top don't want company, and if you want to get ahead, you have to be just as underhanded to get there.
Lucky for me, a pretty face gets you lots of places you shouldn't be. I wrote about all of it, disguising it as fiction and poetry.
Unlucky for me, one of those places was skinny-dipping in an isolated lake outside of the ATL with one of the more eligible bachelors at 17.
I saw a light in the water, I swear! I tried to follow it, but nearly drowned instead. My eligible bachelor swooped in to rescue me when I started thrashing like a spaz, but I wasn't nearly so brave after that. I became a fearful, tiny little thing who jumped at her own shadow and followed every rule. The eligible bachelors stopped coming 'round after that, and eventually I became just another cog in the machine.
That's what everyone thinks, anyway. I did follow the light. Caught it, too.
More like, it caught me.
...
Time passed. Lots of it. Being Snow Queen was oddly dull, despite the balls, the salons, the courtly intrigue, the horrifying punishments that froze my heart as effectively as my Keeper had frozen my skin. There was no room for advancement. Nothing to hustle for. I remembered my conquests back home, and wondered if my family had found a way up without me. Still, I was as close to the top as I was ever gonna see while I was there. And then, I wasn't. He didn't want a Snow Queen anymore, and he had no further use for me. I was tossed aside for another plaything, and landed in the possession of new Keepers, who needed ice hauled in and out of their laboratory space at intervals determined by Fae (il)Logic. I was overworked, beaten, starved, and worse. If I demonstrated any sort of independent thought, they took me out of the freezers and used me as a test subject for whatever demented idea they were following that moment. Occasionally, after they were done, they'd send me back to the test pool instead of the freezers. Those were the better times, for the testing pool included one Myo, she of the nimble fingers and light touch. She patched me up way better than the Others did, and I did my best to discourage the Others from choosing her-- not that I accomplished much besides getting myself tore up again.

Met CJ. Poor fool thinks he's been in a coma. Told him what was really up, then took him into the Hedge to prove it. Damned if we didn't run into hobgoblins pretty much immediately. Good thing I had back-up. Wow, CJ's... awesome. There's nothing like a good fight to get the blood running, and he didn't even flinch when I tackled him in the middle of the Hedge. I play rough with my toys, these days, and I can't tell you how good it is to have one that don't break.
There ain't no one else I trust with my back. Me and Daddy got a good thing goin' doin' the dirty work for others who were Lost, and maybe someday we'll have enough set aside to go legit. I don't know if that's what I want, though. This bears consideration. In the meantime, we've kinda adopted Lysle into our little gang (though never our bed, if CJ knows what's good for him), as well as [insert character name here when I know it]. I trust them as far as the motley pledge holds, and no further. So far, that's enough.

Quotes
- "If you ain't my Daddy, don't be callin' me Baby. My /name/ is /Yuki/."
- "Did you just step on my foot? Do you have any idea how hard it was to steal these?!" *brandishes switchblade menacingly*
Rumors
- If you have bad news for Yuki, give it to her when CJ's around, too. Might help. Maybe.
- Sometimes, if you look at her at just the right moment, you might see a sad, faraway look in her eyes. Except you didn't, if you know what's good for you. I hear even CJ don't know what that's about.
- Stay away from the pointy ends. If you aren't in their little gang, they're all pointy ends.
