Blackberry maze

Not far from Laurel's house is a large thicket of blackberry bushes. The thicket is, upon closer examination, a maze. The canes of the blackberries range up to the thickness of a woman's wrist and the thorns are frequently 1/2 an inch long and thick enough to pierce the soles of a pair of boots. Someone has trained the blackberries into the shape of a hedge-maze covering nearly 15 square yards. The walls of the maze are thick enough that travelers cannot see through them and slightly over ten feet tall. There center of the maze appears to be a dead end.
