Overview

One of the most notorious Motleys in recent years is the troupe known as the Blackguards. Though acheiving various levels of fame and notoriety throughout recent history, it has unfortunately been brought low and dispered several years ago, after their long term adversary summoned a Wild Hunt within their Hollow. Originally captained by the equally notorious Lord Valentine. The status of the members of this Motley is unknown as some escaped into the Thorns, only to recently re-emerge, while others may have been recaptured by the Gentry.

OOC Note: The following are a list of infamous exploits and adventures that the Blackguards have been involved in. Not all events are recorded thoroughly so it is possible for events thought forgotten to come to light. I am currently looking for ties of adventures that the Motley could have participated in.

OOC Note: What follows is the IC membership of the Blackguards throughout history.

Original Motley

OOC Note: The original six Blackguards where the changelings who were kept by the Crimson Lady of Eternal Summer and escaped as a group with Lord Valentine. To be a member of this original group, your history must reflect this (refer to Valentine's Durance history to learn more about it). Where it says available for play, it means that these characters have not been claimed by a player. The rough attributes of these figures, along with gender and age are not set in stone and can be defined by the player.

  • Valentine - Flowering, Spring Court; Captain of the original Motley and Commander in Chief of the Blackguard Corps (played by Angelus Michaels - AU2005120007).
  • Anastacia Argent - Mirrorskin, Winter Court; Second in Command (played by Emma O'Dea - AU2003100566).
  • Selene Brooks - Oracle, Winter Court; Seer and mystic of the Motley, (played by Tieshia Montgomery - US2005075876 ).
  • The Rolling Rock - Strong-arm of the Motley, should be a Stonebones Ogre, available for play.
  • Draco Archer - Beast, Spring Court; Scout and otherwise Big Bad Wolf of the Motley, (played by Andrew J. Trujillo - US2002076343).
  • The Child of Summer - Vibrant child of fire, should be a Fireheart Elemental, available for play.

Later Membership

OOC Note: There is room for the membership having changed over the years to lose some of the original members and gain new ones, rather like a comic serial. If you wish to have a character that was at one point a Blackguard, but not one of the original six, contact me and we can see if we can create a comparable history.

Antagonists

OOC Note: This section can involve both PC and NPC players who opposed the Blackguards.

Crazy Jane - The infamous loyalist who is suspected to now serve the Crimson Lady of Eternal Summer. She was responsible for the destruction of the Blackguards.

Justice Drago Verdetti - An often encountered judge who was often called upon to adjudicated conflicts involving the Blackguards - sometimes even in their favour.

Rose Red - The Keeper of the original Motley. Is particularly wrath with Valentine for being the trigger of their escape. It is rumoured she has been banished from Arcadia.

Dahlia Mask- Antagonist, Former Admirer of Valentine's, now seeks to bring havoc upon the Blackguards and Show Valentine the perfection of Sorrow through a series of subtle performances.

Benares - Ether a member of the Motley or connected to the Motley through verious Networks that Benares has established or is establishing.
