Basic Timeline:

1935: Born in Canada.
1957: Taken into Arcadia (spent 65 years there)
1959: Wandered out of the hedge near Phoenix, Arizona. Appeared to be a 90 year old woman.
1959: Joined the Autumn Court.
2007: Hoping her blood pressure goes down!

Current Activities: Known for her occult knowledge and her flower garden.

Background:

Her background prior to Arcadia is unknown and is therefore, not included here. However, she was taken when she was around twenty years old. She rarely speaks of her time in Arcadia, mainly because she only remembers snapshots and fuzzy images. It is known to some that her keeper maintained the disguise or the appearance of a large black bear. He kidnapped small children, changing them into cubs, and forcing Bolgra to take care of them in a large underground cave system. After being locked away in the dark for so many years, she developed bat perceptions and characteristics.

Bolgra emerged from Arcadia in 1959. She was found wandering the hedge by a Beast named Tomcat. He taught her how to survive in changeling society and bought her a cozy house in a quiet neighborhood. One day Tomcat disappeared; it is assumed the Gentry took him.

Over the next several years, Bolgra made it her purpose to collect as much information about the hedge, the Gentry, and Arcadia. She joined Phoenix's underground changeling railroad in order to help new changelings adjust to the normal world. This mentor position has established Bolgra as a teacher to many in the freehold and it allows her to stress the importance of using and maintaining the magical abilities granted to all changelings.
