Basic Timeline:
On the 26th of May, 1964, the Man who would become Bramble was born into a family of morticians just outside of Oxford, England. He was not an abused child and his home life was the best any middle-class suburban white child could hope for. As the Eldest son, it was expected that he would follow the family business. It was not to be. It was soon noticed that his tastes ran to men, and he was kicked out of his home at the age of 16. He hustled the streets of London for almost a year, until a wealthy John lifted him from his squalor. In this way he became the Johns “Nephew”. Guests did not know the true nature of the relationship, but it was simple. Sex for a life not on the streets. This simple trade became a significant portion of Bramble’s mindset.
Then in his 18th year, Bramble’s body had become too adult for John’s taste. John, perhaps from affection, maybe from guilt, sponsored Bramble’s future. Psychology at the University of Manchester, fully paid for. University life suited Bramble, it wasn't that he was especially quick of mind, but more that he could use peoples weaknesses to his advantage. Many a Professor came under his control (ooc: terrible pun sorry!). Pyschology suited his mind well, and only empowered his innate gift. Then on June 11th, 1983, during the total solar eclipse, Bramble wandered into the hedge on his way back to the dorms. God knows how long he wandered through the thorns, but sometime later he was picked up by a goblin slaving troupe.
What happened while he was away is generally unknown, thus this is left blank. It is however said that Bramble remembers his Durance vividly.
Bramble returned to this world changed. His fair looks were reshaped into that of bark and wood. His body hung with blackberries and thorns. He carried a whip formed of ivy and bramble thorn, looking as though forged from his own flesh. He fell into a foreign land, pulling himself out near Port Headland on September 29th, 2005. He was found by the then Autumn Sorceror, Emily Hemlock, and nursed back to health. Her gentle touch made all the difference, and the Woodblood and Woodman became incredibly close. Her skill with Potions and Hedge Fruit was amazing, and Bramble soon became her peer with words and pledgecraft. They were rumored to be lovers, though nothing was ever confirmed. Rumors it will forever remain now. It was during this time Bramble also established his business. His skill with words and emotions gave him rare insight to the human psyche, and he soon took up his old path of psychology once more. In his false identity and background, a paper path was created to show him completing the course he once began, although on Australian soil. A small practice in Subiaco quickly grew, and is now a leading location for dealing with Irrational fears, phobias and Paranoia.
