Bunker

The bunker belongs to a house that was formerly on Laurel's property but had been condemned and demolished when she bought the lot. A large fallout bunker fully buried beneath the earth and encased in thick cement, it is connected to the rest of the world through the cellar of the old house. The cellar has remained intact, surrounded on the surface by a closed-in little grove of young cedar saplings with the door only visible to the sharp-eyed. There is a thick scent of drying herbs in the air within the cellar as it has been reinforced and re-outfitted into Laurel's herbal. Electric lights, powered by the lines for the old house brings it into the modern age as does the various devices for preserving and preparing herbs. In one corner is the hidden door to the shelter, behind a swinging book shelf that Laurel built to hold her notebooks, cookbooks, etc. The door is padlocked and only Laurel carries the key. The bunker contains medical supplies, including rudimentary equipment for basic surgery and life support.
