History of the Clock
Quiet Caleb is one of the founders of the House of Cards (the Freehold of Orlando, FL). For many, he is one of the first Changelings that they met on this side of the hedge. Although somewhat alien in nature, he has always been a gentle and caring mentor for new arrivals, slowly and patiently helping them to reclaim or rebuild their life. Although his mannerisms are mechanical, his words are those of a concerned grandfather, used to being ignored and taken for granted, happy to welcome the reprieve of Winter.
As one of the strongest representations of Winter in the region, many are surprised at how very simple Caleb is in both mannerisms and seeming. What you see is usually what you get with Caleb, and when there is a surprise it is because of omission, not deception, that someone is caught unaware. More than one person has gotten the response "...because you didn't ask."

Time keeps on slippin' (Recent Events)
Held captive for over a month by the Cowboy until he was given back on the Winter Solstice, little was heard of Caleb in January. He was not even seen at the funeral of his old friend and fellow House of Cards founder, Old Man Jennings. After the chaotic events of the Gainsville Freehold's Winter Gala and the recent chaos that occurred at the 'very merry unbirthday' which the Freehold held for him, Caleb has retreated even further from public notice.
Without a word he left the 52 pickup (the hotel owned by Toi Breaker where he was residing). As of 02/23/08 no one is sure where Caleb is living or even where he is. His new Antique Timepiece shop is located in Winter Park, although it is closed 90% of the time as he is out fixing heirloom pieces.
Caleb has an open invitation for other Oneiriomancers to contact him. Something about children having night-terrors caused by something worse than just one Fae...
