Mask - The Mortal Life
Looking to be in her twenties, she's a short and extremely slender woman, giving off a very fragile appearance. Ever pale, it looks as though she hasn't seen the sun in quite a long time, and the dark circles under her heavy-lidded green eyes seem to support that theory quite well. Although she carries herself rather poorly, with her shoulders hunched and her steps erratically awkward, she still manages to appear quite agile and almost feline. Overall, she could be described as a creepy goth chick, dressing herself in a strange conglomeration of black, white, and purple.

Current Activities: No one seems to be quite sure as to what Capricious does in the mortal world. She doesn't appear to have a home city, or an alternate identity of any kind. There are, however, rumors of an alias 'Theresa Hetcchi' which she may use while interacting with the mundane world. Whether or not this is true, or what exactly the identity of 'Theresa Hetcchi' involves, remains a mystery to most Changelings.
Mein - The Fae Existence
What a curious creature this is, a strange amalgamation of humanoid and fiend, something that could only have ever been thought up in the nightmares of the mad. Her slenderness loses all of the feminine appeal with the illusion of her Mask, leaving her to appear undeniably gaunt and almost emaciated, seemingly held together by wiry muscle alone. The shadows that adorn her face take on a life of their own, swirling into the coherent patterns that scar her angular features. Her green eyes take on a very eerie luminescent glow, like a monster in the dark, and are more often then not the first indicator of her sudden arrival. Her strangest feature, however, is the pair of long twisted cat-like ears that protrude from the top of her skull, getting her confused quite often for a Beast. She grins at this, with long pointed fangs, but says nothing more.

Current Activities: Capricious is nearly as elusive in her interactions with other Changelings as she is in the mundane world. She comes and goes, appears and disappears, and never really seems to have much of an agenda. She does seem to get around quite a bit, traveling from Freehold to Freehold in search of nothing in particular. Sometimes she is contracted to guide travelers through the Hedge, and is in fact very much sought after for such, some saying that there is no equal in skill to her. Other times it is to barter for Tokens and Goblin Fruits, though how they manage to get a hold of her for such is unknown.

Character Ties
People looking for character ties (post-1993) can chose from one of the following options as types of interactions that can be had with Capricious. She is, for all intensive purposes, a very mysterious individual, so most tie ins would remain quite vague as we enter into chronicle.
- Random Madness. As far as anyone can assume, Capricious appears to be quite mad. It's a subtle kind of madness however, the type that seems to be oddly functional and even somewhat organized. Sometimes this sort of behavior distresses others, sometimes it brings amusement, but if Capricious notices the difference, she doesn't let it on. If this strange Darkling has an agenda of any kind, she's been able to mask it well. More often then not, it seems that she just enjoys random interactions with strangers.
- Bartering. No one is really sure how Capricious gets all of these Goblin Fruits or Tokens, but she seems to have an abundance of them. She often uses them to barter for things that really don't seem to have any value, or are so mundane that you could walk into a 7-11 and buy one for yourself. Usually when approached outright for these things, she denies their existence, but it isn't unknown for her to approach someone at random and ask for a trade.
- Hedge Maze. Most Changelings can reliably find Capricious around the edge and inside of the Hedge more then anywhere else. Because of this, she encounters many fresh escapees from Arcadia. More often then not, she isn't much help to calm or reassure these newly fled, but has been known to offer the occasional bit of infallible wisdom. Additionally, she seems to be quite adept at traveling long distances through the Hedge, and will sometimes spontaneously act as a guide for those who seem to have lost their way. In fact, she's something of an expert in hedge navigation, and is frequently sought out for those skills.
