Once Upon A Time...

There was a girl, a girl left in the bitter cold of nothingness. She mirrored the glory of her other half, but others viewed his sun brighter than her light. She strived, she tried, she begged, pleaded. Still his brilliance stretched like a shadow, bringing forth the darkness. Deep within her heart, she loved him. Blood is always thicker than water. But anger and pain will eat away at the soul.

He tried, so very hard, to make her feel welcome. Deep inside she knew this, but the parents saw only his achievements, his glories. The girl tried to change the bitter anger growing in her heart. This was her brother, her love, her life; how could he be hurting her? Still, the green eyed dragon cradled her in darkness.

The days turned to months, to years. The girl began to take solace in the silence of night. The shadows hiding her as she watched her parents and sibling laugh and love.

Feeling so alone, the girl lashed out one night, over nothing of importance in hindsight. Her words were like daggers to his heart. Instead of fighting like she expected, her brother stared at her for a moment. He ran, ran far away from the words she uttered. Their mother ranted, raved, and insisted that she follow and make amends. She found him right where she expected. He sat on the fifty yard like of the field.

A moment of glee was all she felt before regretting the words as she watched the beautiful, alien creature swoop down in a chariot of fire and smoke. She swore her mind was playing tricks on her.

Physical Description

Mein:The raven tresses now shift and flows as if it were the very shadows she lives within. Her ears elongate and her true height is now seen, though it looks as if she is continually slouching. Her eyes shift from pale, almost white hue to a startling vibrant blue. With continued use of glamour, Cel's features tend to drift toward ordinary, indistinguishable from many others.

Mask: Mortals tend to become uncomfortable around her. Aside from her lower than normal body temperature, it feels like a dead doll is staring at you because she doesn't understand the mortal world anymore. She stares, watching, absorbing the world around her in hopes that it will begin to make sense again. Perhaps this is mostly to with the fact that she has returned looking approximately 8 years older than she really is. In a lot of ways, she still sees the world like a 13 year old child. Her voice is never heard above a whisper. It is unknown if this is by choice or from her time in Arcadia. Cel is a waif of a girl, thin and fairly tall for a twin. She still stands just shy of her brother's height, of course one more thing to add to his achievements. Her hazel eyes shift slightly with mood and/or colors being worn. Raven locks stretch to her lower back. She always seems a bit unkempt. In a crowd, she is hard to distinguish from any other kid on the street.
