While he is not a household name, he is well-known among artists and among the general populace of Pittsburgh, mostly for his charity work.. Background: Born to a well-to-do Jewish family in Squirrel Hill (a Jewish neighborhood in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvainia), Jacob Goldbloom was an excellent student in high school who went on to pursue a degree in Engineering from Carnegie-Mellon University. Strangely, he changed gears in his senior year, eventually earning a degree in Engineering and Fine Arts. From there, he went on to pursue a career as an artist, taking the name Celestial Dragon. His first gallery opening was well-received, and soon critics were calling him the Andy Warhol of the 21st century.
