In many changeling freeholds around the world, to show a sign of the binding between the changelings and the seasons and to show respect for each court, it is not uncommon for that freehold to have an agreement, verbal or otherwise, between each of the members of the city to reflect their agreement to uphold the respect for each court. However as their contracts bind their power to their court, so does their pledges reflect their binds between each other. Below is an example of such a pledge.

Section 1 - Declaration of Purpose
For which as said, a change of the responsibilities of Court and Freehold shall exist between each of the Courts. This contract serves as a reflection of the Seasonal responsibilities of said Court.
For change of season to occur, it is expected that each court shall have dates and signs. Signs are greater than dates, but dates serve as a reflection of signs to prevent one court from having too short or two long of a responsibility.
Section 2 - Explanation of Transition
Transition from court responsibility occurs during a timeframe. Within that time frame dates are defined. The earliest date is the earliest gathering that which the Transition may occur. The latest date is the date of no return from which the next gathering to occur, transition shall occur.
Section 3 - Dates
Dates are expressed in a range of earliest date and end date known as the Days of Transition.
Section 3 - Sub Section 1 - Spring
Transition of Court from Winter to Spring shall occur after the first sign of Spring but not before the 22 nd day of February. Should first sign not occur by the Vernal Equinox and of March 22nd, Transition shall occur at the next gathering.
Section 2 - Sub Section 2 - Summer
Transition of Court from Spring to Summer shall occur after the first sign of Summer but not before the 22 nd day of May. Should first sign not occur by the Summer Solstice of June 21st, Transition shall occur at the next gathering.
Section 2 - Sub Section 3 - Autumn
Transition of Court from Summer to Autumn shall occur after the first sign of Autumn but not before the 22 nd day of August. Should first sign not occur by the Autumnal Equinox of September 23rd, Transition shall occur at the next gathering.
Section 2 - Sub Section 3 - Winter
Transition of Court from Autumn to Winter shall occur after the first sign of Winter but not before the 22 nd day of November. Should first sign not occur by the Winter Solstice of December 22nd, Transition shall occur at the next gathering.
Section 4 - Signs
Signs shall be listed as an acceptable list of items that can signify that the season is here. However, these are guidelines for acceptable signs. Members meeting the requirements for Section 5 (Identification of Signs) shall be provided the ability to acknowledge the change of season.
Section 4 - Sub Section 1 - Spring
Each court shall provide and adheer to suggestions of acceptable signs of Change of Season. As each city in each state of each country and each region may experience different signs of season due to being a temperate, cold, or hot arid area, so such shall the signs be adressed as well, be it physical signs or actual dates.

Each court shall provide and adheer to suggestions of acceptable signs of Change of Season. Section 4 - Sub Section 3 - Autumn
Each court shall provide and adheer to suggestions of acceptable signs of Change of Season. Section 4 - Sub Section 4 - Winter
Each court shall provide and adheer to suggestions of acceptable signs of Change of Season. As each city in each state of each country and each region may experience different signs of season due to being a temperate, cold, or hot arid area, so such shall the signs be adressed as well, be it physical signs or actual dates.
Section 5 - Identification of Signs
Signs shall be accepted if three members of a Court outside of the court who shall be receiving Transition acknowledge that an appropriate sign has occurred and publicly state during gathering that said signs have occurred. Transition shall occur at the next gathering after the declaration has been made unless it falls outside of the dates, at which time the Dates take precedence over the Declaration of Signs.
Scion of Seasons
It is not uncommon to the city to have an individual with which has Court Good Will within each of the courts of the city. That member, who is seen in good favor with all of the courts of the city is not unknown to enter into a pact with the court leader receiving transition that they will hold true their pact (said agreement) to with honor authenticate the transition of season by truthfully identifying the sign of the transition. Such a title is honorable and very respected as not only is the individual seen in favor with every court, they are seen as a respected and trusted individual by the changelings (sub: Changelings do not trust other changelings).
Scion Responsibilities
The Scion of Seasons shall reflect upon the court identification that their Season is coming to an end and a new season is beginning. They shall then enter into a pact with the new Season's Court a pact with their identified leader a pledge of oath to fairly and accurately identify when that court's season is coming to an end.
