Character Information
Known History
Pre-Arcadia:
Chloe grew up in a relatively normal home, in the middle of Buffalo, NY. Her mother and father, both worked middle class jobs, and did their best to care for her. Guests at their home were always impressed with the cheery, inquisitive nature of their little girl, and how she insisted upon cleanliness going so far as to make sure her bed linens were cleaned each day. When Chloe was about 10 her parents bought her a puppy, whom she loved dearly, and had to attend counseling after the sad passing of. After the sadness of losing her puppy, her life returned to normal, where she achieved better than average grades, and Chloe kept herself busy having sleepovers with her friends, and painting bright pictures for her parents. However only a short time later, poor Chloe would have tragedy cross her life again. Her families home burned to the ground, and poor Chloe had to mourn the loss of her dear mother. Her father purchased another home, within the same school district to ensure that Chloe's grades would not suffer, days after her mother's funeral. She mourned for nearly a year, withdrawing from family and friends, before she regained some semblance of her past happiness, returning to her father and friends. Chloe quickly became the darling of her high school, where she was a cheerleader, honor's student, and the lead in several of the schools plays. While she and her steady boyfriend were passed over for homecoming king and queen, they were however, named prom king and queen.
It was that night, that Chloe disappeared.
Her best friend was the last to hear from Chloe, as she cried, stating that her boyfriend was pressuring her, and how she was calling a cab to go home.
Taken:
Chloe was on her way home, but she didn't want to take a cab. She felt like walking, after her mother's death she felt more at home in the woods. That night she needed the comfort of familiarity, that wouldn't try to hurt her. It was a beautiful night, the moon was big and full and comforting. When she looked up, she wiped her tears away, and she heard singing in the distance. She was startled briefly but the voice sounded so loving and so caring, she went towards the voice. She thought she knew the woods inside and out, so she was surprised to find a small glade in the woods that she had never seen. There was a small pond, and beautiful willow trees surrounding it. It was a scene straight out of a fairy tale, and so was he. He walked up to her still singing, he was tall, muscularly built, with shoulder length black hair. He was wearing formal clothes, and at first she thought it was someone whom she had danced with at the prom, until he looked into her eyes. As he did so, she became everything she always believed she could be, and then she was no longer in the glade.
The Palace:
When she opened her eyes again, she was surrounded by a bright white light, that seemed to both embrace her and emanate from her. She was calm for the first time in a long time, she didn't have to worry anymore about being the "girl whose mother died." She looked around her eyes slowly adjusting to the light. Once her eyes focused she saw that she was in an old styled castle, with stone walls, and ornate tapestries with a mirror at a washbasin, which had a note above the water. She went to the washbasin, read the note, and finally looked into the mirror. She was naked, and she was illuminating the room. The light that she had seen earlier was being reflected from her throughout mirrors placed throughout the room. In addition to the light coming from her, her ears were pointed, her hair was several colors, and eyes had flecks of white in a pattern she thought she had seen before. Thinking about what had happened, she read the note again, looked at the bed she had woken up on, to find it perfectly made with clothes neatly lain on it. She put the clothes on and opened the door leaving her room.
Life in Arcadia:
Her keeper at first, was the gentle man whom had appeared in her dreams. He took care of her, made sure she was happy, and seemed to genuinely care for her... But after a short period of time, his demeanor changed towards her. He became cold and distant towards her, eventually becoming increasingly cruel. Shortly after he started to beat her and then not speak to her for days, leaving her alone in a tower room. Eventually he began to beat her and then leave her outside the castle, naked and bleeding. That is when she met Kurt. He picked her up and brought her to the horse stables, tended to her wounds, and gave her some of his own clothes to wear. He tenderly took care of her, and she began to spend more time with him, sneaking away from the keeper whenever she could, which was becoming more and more frequently. After a few weeks of his kind ministrations, he began to kiss away her tears, that's when she realized she was in love with him.
Running:
The next day she was awakened to the sounds of the hunting trumpets... She dressed as quickly as possible with her bruises, and did her best to get the hay out of her hair. Moments later, the keeper burst into the stable, and grabbed her by the hair. She cried out for her love, looking around the room, she saw that he was not there. The keeper turned her around, so she was forced to look into his eyes, before spitting in her face. He dragged her out of the stable, and to the release point for the hunted. She looked up, collapsed to her knees, begging that he spare her life, but he turned away. She stayed there for a moment, sobbing, before she realized that she had little to no time to spare before she too would be hunted down and killed. She stood up and started to run, she headed towards the woods, crying and stumbling when she found herself in a glade, similar to the one she had initially been drawn to, but twisted and harsh. She collapsed unable to run anymore and she began sobbing again, for her own plight, and that of her lovers. She sobbed, knowing that the arrow would come soon. The hound came out first as they always did, but rather than tearing her to pieces he stood at a distance and howled at her. The woodsman came next, arrow aimed at her, and she collapsed again at the feet of a man. She begged for her life, and for information on her lover. The woodsman said nothing but grabbed her arm, and with his other hand, put a finger to his own lips suggesting silence, and led her away.
Later:
The unlikely trio came tore their way through the hedge, and appeared in Orlando, Florida, where they would make their home. She mourned again, for Kurt, until one day she finally was able to ask the woodsman what happened to him. He told her that he had escaped a punishment by the keeper during the night, and that he would try to find her. She decided right then and there that she would do whatever it took to ensure that she would be successful when he found her, whenever that would be. She started school at the University of Central Florida, focusing on Forensic Anthropology, finding herself drawn to helping others. She stayed faithful to Kurt for 5 years hoping that he would find her, before she began to fear the worse. She decided that she would move on, and try to find another love, someone to allow her to make her feel that it was possible to be loved, now, without waiting another five years. After another few months, she made peace with herself and with her relationship, and while she is no longer looking for love, she will take what is offered, and live her life as happily as possible. She has been a member of a very proud and productive motley, dedicated to protecting the House of Cards Freehold.

Quotes
- "Hey, she's a lot more than a pretty face...she also has a fantastic ass. Plus, when you consider her friends, I'm sure she's more than capable of defending herself, before Tim rips off your face and Raph pees on what's left. Let's just say there's a good reason I haven't been hitting on her like a man jacked up on Viagra that's just been released after 20 years in jail." - Dzxoxian Brokehorn
- "Chloe nice, dosen't beat Raph very hard for talking and cooks good aspergus, but no Changlings, changlings give you the shits" - Rapheal "Raph" Carddec
- "Chloe? She has a rare beauty, possessed by few that I've seen above the waves. However, unlike those below, her light comes from within..." William "Jayjay" Terrell
- "Chloe...there is a woman who has me wondering sometimes. Aren't I the one who is supposed to be the comforting, hiding snow? Then why do I find myself, letting her in while an Ice wall stays between myself and others? Hmm...Something about my own life I suppose I need to ponder. Or maybe she is just that good? Either way...I think Chloe would be one of those people that I would do anything for, just so she doesn't cry..." - Ryver
Rumors
- Chloe was actually kept by multiple Keepers: The Lover, The Monster and The Huntsman. They all just look alike--damn Keepers.
