Overview

"My eyes always seek the impossible and the insane."

Fate is an undeniable force that stretches out over the world at large. This truth is more self evident in Changelings though the reasoning that the fate of those touched by Arcadia is so closely linked to the force so unknown, yet beautiful is still in much debate.

Those who decide to tie themselves in with the College of Worms recognize it's presence and make it their goal to root out and scrutinize the fates that so closely bind. This is much more simple than it seems. The threads that fate weave are hard to tease out of the chaos and every day life. It takes time, dedication and an astuteness that most do not posses to do so.

But for those who can stay the course, the rewards are boundless. The College believes that once you can understand them and predict then you can initiate the changes that events will cause. Possibly even to the end of predicting with clarity when the Others come to this realm. Those who take up this mantle do so, even at the cost of their own Clarity because this cause is one of grave importance.

While no one member knows the correct and only way to tease out these strands, there are several methods employed. From old tomes and books to websites looking for things out of sync to scrutinizing current events for signs, no method is untried. The only thing more cryptic than discerning the signs is figuring out how the College came up with it's unique name.

Titles

Members of the College can be called many things. Diviners of the Worms or even just Diviners or Augurs.

Prerequisites

Each member of the College must have the appropriate scores in Wyrd (3), Investigation (2) and Occult (2) to be a full member.

Joining

Thankfully those who mentor others in the College are patient. The time needed for mentorship is determined by the student as they progress and during the time the Mentor gives a pledge to the apprentice to never give up on their training and will stick with it, be it 10 days or 10 years.

Mien

Scholars are as Scholars do? Certainly some members choose to dress in a style that suits what is typically thought of as scholarly, all be it from any version there of to slacks and ties all the way down to robes and ceremonial garb. The most disturbing thing that changes for members of the College is the suggestion of worms crawling under their skin. This can be most disturbing to look at while the other change is much less disturbing, which is that a pair of eyeglasses that appear perched on the Diviners nose. These can manifest in any type, though they are always cracked.
