Physical description:

Mask

Appearance: A very attractive, though extremely androgynous, teenager. Normally using the names Sam or Max when forced to deal with humans, its features never seem to sit quite right for the gender you might guess it really is.

• Age: Between 17 - 20
• Dress: Loose fitting, suitably ambiguous clothing to further the confusion of its 'true' sex.
• Height: 5'8"
• Weight: 135lbs
• Hair: Shoulder length, black. Worn either down or in a pony tail.
• Eyes: Color frequently changes, but brown is the most frequently recurring color.

Overview: An expertly crafted mechanical manikin, Construct is completely androgynous. It has features of both male and female, but no genitalia to speak of. Its most striking feature is its faces. Individual masks hang from hooks about its waist which, when attached, animate to give Construct facial features and limited expression depending on the mask. Construct can, in fact, walk around without having a face attached though it is quite disturbing speaking to something with a hollow head. Additionally, across Constructs chest are a series of dials which regulate its mood and emotional state.

• Eyes: While wearing a mask, varies. Without mask, none apparent.
• Hair: Black, similar to its Mask, though obviously artificial.
• Build: Construct has features of both genders, but not definitive gender at all.

Known History

Basic Timeline:

• 1916 - Mortal birth, Kansas City
• 1929 - The Great Depression
• 1930 - The Dust Bowl begins
• 1932 - Seduced into the Hedge by The Trader
  • Initial shaping of Construct
    • Most memory of the real world stripped away
  • The Trader begins 'renting' Construct to other Fae
    • Constructs body is reshaped and adjusted according to the needs of the Fae 'renting' it.
    • Before long, any and all trace of original gender or identity is erased
  • Construct becomes The Traders prized creation
  • Eventually is rented to Viscount Dom Nuidouleur, Lord of Unquenchable Lust
    • Becomes acquainted with Rowan, who later saves its life after the Viscount 'breaks' it.
      • Remains in the service to the Viscount after Rowan's escape
    • Construct is repeatedly 'broken' by the Viscount, forcing The Trader to make constant repairs and alterations to it.
  • The Trader grows weary of constantly repairing Construct and releases it, tossing it back through the Hedge.
• 2007, March - Construct lands on the doorstep of Mother Rowan, quite literally.

There is currently LOTS of room for tie-ins with other characters in Constructs background. Please, feel free to write me and suggest a tie-in!

Current Activities: Constructs primary activity at this point is attempting to adjust to the human world and coming to terms with how different Construct really is compared to most.
