History: Snatched from the Nest

It was the morning of her wedding day when Cyanne saw the bright floating light in the backyard near the woods. Of course, she wasn’t Cyanne then, she was someone else completely. Dressed in her gown after just finishing with pre-wedding pictures, she had stayed behind in the gardens to enjoy some solitude when the odd thing bounced along the Stargazer Lilies that grew beside the gate. Intrigued, Cyanne slowly crept closer, not wanting to frighten the odd butterfly or silvery bird that seemed to be reflecting the sunlight. The orb floated over the gate and bounced into the woods. Cyanne pushed open the wrought iron gate and followed, into the woods, deeper into Hedge.
No one missed the kidnapped bride. Another took her place as Cyanne was enslaved for what seemed to be 20-30 years. During that time, she truly became Cyanne. Not the intelligent young lady who was to be married to a millionaire. Not the well brought up society girl who made her family so proud, but something else. Something primal. Something dangerous. When her keeper tired of her, he tossed her aside to menial tasks. Outraged at being kidnapped, held hostage, and then cast away, Cyanne plotted and then rose up again her keeper. She cackled as she flew over his body to the Hedge and her escape.
Back in the real world, Cyanne went to her fiancé’s house to try to explain what happened. She was promptly taken to a mental facility. After a brief stay, she was able to convince them that free her.
Cyanne went off to be alone for awhile. She established Raptor Rescue, a sanctuary for injured or orphaned birds of prey. Her anger grew with time. Her life was ruined because of the Fae. In time, she met other Changelings including those who felt as she did. She helps them now by fighting the Fae, the Loyalists, and whatever else the Hedge spews out.
Fetch: Money drips from the current Mrs. Stranahan. She is seen in public in gold and jewels in fancy cars. She has two beautiful children and lives in fine house in the best part of the city. Cyanne hates her for it. She stalks Mrs. Stranahan carefully, ever watchful of the happenings of the household. The present Mrs. Stranahan appears a good 20 years younger than Cyanne, preventing Cyanne from simply killing her and taking her life back.
