What is Known
Daimyo is a hardcore player of Gentry politics. It captures mortals, preferably but not exclusively Asian, and re-makes them into tools that it can use to play its eternal shogi (Japanese style chess) game with other Gentry.
Daimyo presents itself as either gender as its whim takes it but has most recently displayed a preference for the form of a beautiful samurai man. Its domain has the appearance of a feudal era fortress and contains no hints of modern mortal technology.
The Daimyo treats its tools very well when they meet or exceed its expectations. However, failure may mean any sort of torment that this creature can think of for its amusement. And the torment may not at first seem to be one.
