Physical description:
Her mask is rather dainty and demure, although she always emanates a healthy glow that attracts attention (much to her dismay). She keeps her straw-blond hair in a long braid down her back and wears practical gardener's clothing when working. She is often covered in plant clippings, potting soil, and compost. She carries the attitude of "the pretty girl who wishes she wasn't" and has no apparent friends.
Daysi's mien is much more radiant. As a Winter court Flowering she seems to be frozen in time, having blossomed to a perfect point between girl and woman. Her cheeks are round and her lips poised, although they have a bluish hue like that of a victim of drowning. Her flawless complexion has a pale white-blue cast to it. A wild wave of blond cascades down her back, catching bits of plants and adorned with exotic Alaskan flowers. When away from her garden she wears the kind of dowdy dresses that bring to mind images of naughty librarians. Her eyes glitter with color and gaze off into some unseen memory of ecstasy and pain.
History
Background:
- Virginia loved being the girl next door. Her good looks and cheerful, friendly demeanor earned her the love and friendship of many. The summer after she graduated high school, she met and fell in love with Frederick Wallace, and lived happily in Tennessee with him as his fiance. Then one day he went missing without a word. Devastated, Ginny moved as far away as she could afford and ended up in Fairbanks, Alaska. Little did she know, but her loyal Frederick had been taken by the Fae because of that loyalty to her. Isa Freyjasson became an ice-cloaked guard for a castle in Arcadia.
- Virginia herself was taken in 1998 during her Sophmore year studying botany at the University of Alaska in Fairbanks. She found herself in the phantasmal realm of the Garden of Stolen Souls along with Dr Somnus.
- Her life in the Garden as a plant slowly sapped her memories- the Garden was watered with her affection and optimism leaving her an empty shell. One interminable day the Garden was visited by a company of royal guards, one of whom was Isa. She called to him, but found she no longer had a voice. He passed through the realm without ever noticing her. The pain sparked Ginny into attempting to escape The Garden in 2002. She made it to the Hedge, but was caught by a Lost-Hunter, Jack Wilde, and tortured. Finally, she escaped with the help of Sebastion Liloak. Ginny found herself much changed when she stepped out of the Hedge to somewhere in Kentucky.
- Ginny returned to Tennessee to see if Frederick had also escaped, but found only his fetch. The fetch, of course, realized what she had become and treated her cruelly, trying to run her off. Heartbroken and lost, she wandered before running across Dr. Somnus who had also escaped. He helped Daysi work on her clarity.
- Feeling better Ginny returned to Alaska in 2005 and encountered her own fetch. What happened as a result propeled her to flee back to Dr. Somnus, but she instead ran unwittingly into the arms of Virginia Wolfe. She spent some time in Virginia's clubs, learning how to use those who would hurt her. She was occasionally seen at the side of Christian at social gatherings.
- With a new and merciless outlook, Ginny returned to Fairbanks in 2008 to build a spider web of her own.
Current Activities:
Daysi tends her flowers, selling some for profit or to Changeling brewers and goblin markets, and works part-time in a greenhouse. She is not well liked by her co-workers or colleagues. The status of her Fetch is currently unknown.
