Physical description: Dexter is a commonly scruffy man who conceals most of his body under long coats. Strange bulges and ripples of movement under the coat belies inhuman physiology. His protruding insectoid mandibles give him his underworld moniker and reveal him as a man warped into the form of a giant tropical centipede.

Basic Timeline: 1955 - Dexter Robinson is born 1975 - Dexter Robinson gets a girl knocked up while studying biochemistry at college 1980 - Dexter Robinson is arrested and charged with the murder-by-poison of his wife. 1997 - "Mandible" appears in the Seattle area, desperate and newly escaped. 1999 - Ardent's March: Dexter/Mandible, then Summer Court, is a big pusher for the attack 1999 - Dexter stumbles from the hedge, wild-eyed and shattered from the experience, joins the Autumn Court, flees to the Goblin Market to hide among strange and bizarre creatures and dangers. 1999-Present - Mandible cuts secret bargains with the goblins, and slowly consolidates influence in the inhuman market to the point where he is an accepted businessman, mobster, and contact amongst the creatures and dangers of the market.
Current Activities: Mandible acts as a broker between the Changelings of Seattle and the Goblin Market, connecting people with other people who can buy or sell strange and often dangerous items. For all of his wild eyes and creepy appearance, he has a compelling presence that can alternately charm or intimidate even the occasional hedge-dweller.
