History of Jaden DRAMSTIEN KEGMEASTER Bailey Wiess

Some stories begin with once upon a time but this story begins in Chicago, IL in 1940. Jaden grew up with a very creative mind thriving on building and designing many things. Being a young Scottish lad he was raised to enjoy the desires of life like that of food and drink. Since the young age of only 5, Jaden began drinking beers during dinners with the family. This helps him build his resistance to toxins. For fun he liked to mold and work metal into various artworks and gadgets. During high school, Jaden studied brewing and blacksmithing. At the age of 14 in 1954 he quickly began working in the nearby Steel Mills to earn his keep. He also did some brewing as a hobby for part time. Later, during the year of 1959 the steel mill union went on strike, so Jaden was forced to find a different place to work. He found a brewing job at an old church that was turned into a night club (the Nightshade). While working as a bartender one night during the weekend a fire broke out at the club. There were several injured, killed, or even missing from the Nightshade Disaster. Jaden vanished amidst the smoke only to soon find himself no longer in the club. By all standards Jaden should have died in the fire. Jaden had skills and talents that others wanted to use to their advantage. While in Arcadia not that Jaden knew that, he was required to labor for the Machinist in the workshop and blacksmith forge. Jaden was forced to work on a grand project of metal sculpture for the hedge gardens. Jaden would need a good amount of time to complete such a large project. Jaden didn’t get much time for pleasures or even breaks. He quickly realized the extended torture of working at the shop was no way for him to live out the rest of his days. He had to find a way for him to escape. Being creative enough, Jaden set traps up in the form of a metal clockwork robot as a distraction for his escape plans. He hoped that would give enough time to run out of whatever maze he was lost in. He ran out of the workshop and past the blacksmith forge in search for a bar. It was the only thing that would relieve his suffering and pain. He knew that seeking out the nearly forgotten pleasures of food and dink might just save him. Norfolk Virginia near Greenies Bar in OceanView was Jaden’s savior. Upon his exit of the Hedge, Jaden quickly realized the year of torture was more like 40 years. It was not 1960 like he thought, but the year was 2000. He had a lot to catch up on. He found work in Norfolk at a place called (The Store). This place was full of real weapons like those he would forge. Realizing he had been reported dead in the fire so long ago, he chose to use the Jaden Bailey for mortal affairs and Dramstien Kegmeaster for matter of the other changelings. From now on he would say that Jaden was is grandfather. He began working for (the Store) designing and building weapons and armor and gear for the Ren Fares in the area that (the Store) supplies items. He quickly gathered and reestablished his new found resource and fame and talents into a workshop and a home in Norfolk. In the year of 2001, down on Granby Street near the corner of Oceanview Ave he established the ‘KEGMEASTER’ a bar, brewery, and blacksmith workshop. He has two special brews (DRAMSTIEN Red and DRAMSTIEN Black). He was able to build a reputation for himself as a blacksmith and brewer over the next 6 years. He found several contacts and allies at the Ren Fare and Spring Court and even some home in Chicago, IL.
