Invitation
|
To all those who are Lost, I extend the hand of the Winter Court in invitation to you, to come and partake of the annual Winter Fayre. The Fayre will be held at the Kirk Hall on the evening of Sunday the 13th of January, and is open to all. Those wishing to have a stall at the Fayre should contact me as soon as possible to be sure of securing a table { OOC: E-mail richardhussey42@gmail.com and invernessvst@gmail.com }. Some will be allocated on a first-come-first-served basis on the day, but these will be few in number. I have no doubt that, once again, many rare and wondrous items will be offered up for trade, so come prepared to barter. I remain, humbly yours, Blackbird Bishop Grey of Inverness. |

Known traders
The following traders have expressed that they will be present at the Fayre.
- Bishop Grey
- While not having a stall, the Bishop is available for private consultations on all matters spiritual, personal, emotional, and anything that might be troubling the mind of the Freehold and visitors.
- Charlie Tyrrell
- Goblin fruits, furs, tanned hides, wood, and rarer things like merrow scales, a lock of Buabhan Sith hair, uncut gemstones and minerals (amethysts and amazonite), and a few other bits and pieces. A full list of his stock can be found here.
- Cormac
- A small stall, unmarked, but decorated lightly with fake icicles tastefully in a manner that isn't tacky. A number of books are piled up on the stall, along with small jewellery based bric-a-brac and so forth. There is also a small iron cauldron, some candles, and a small bell. He also has a number of snow globes with Victorian street scenes.
- Graceful Aline
- She will be selling dreams. The stall is marked as Dreamweaver and there is a sign that she also does commission work. For a list of all the dreams she has on display see dreams for sale
- Cogsgrove's Clever Clockworks. -- A stall containing various small clockwork toys, from little dolls and animals that appear to change shape at the press of a button or panel, to a music box with a ballroom full of dancing people. In one corner of the table is a dinosaur and collapsable city he can rampage through, all resettable through the means of various gears and levers. There's no plastic in these works however, just hand assmbled and polished metals and woods.
- Orpheus Bane
- He will offering the "Collection and cataloguing of memories of Arcadia for those who wish to donate them", and a "Personalised Exploration of Fear tailored to explore and help an individual understand and be better prepared to deal with their own fears."
- Rea
- Rea has a simple trestle table, garlanded, as it were, with fallen branches that, where thick enough, have had faces whittled into them. Put amongst the branches are the dog-ends of candles, unmatched. Also on display is the symbol of the Harvest Syndicate.
- On the table, with no prices attached, are a number of wooden trinkets of varying form and function, well executed in a number of different woods, which look like they’ve been made of dead wood as found. There are a few foliate men and women amongst them, more intricate than the ones in the table setting. There is also an a mount of silver jewellery, ranging from simple to intricate, from plain to incorporating beads and even crystals. There is a tiara in blue and silver crystal and intricate filigree work.
- In the centre of the table is a small clockwork robin—for any at the Winter Ball, the same one that Rea had there. From time to time it lets out a very accurate, cheery song. Also occupying the centre of the table are four intricately-made metalwork flowers: silver-stemmed bluebells with blued steel drooping flowers, small enough to be used as a brooch or cloakpin; a fairly large copper-and-enamel sunflower, which when one of the flower’s petal’s is pressed emits a warm light; a fern in a copper mix which coruscates with different colours in the light; and a smallish (but not handheld) mirror in the shape of a waning moon, in silvered steel, whose frame is decorated by rosebuds that are designed to look as if under a heavy hoarfrost.
- Reeva is running an Odd Job stall - her sign painted onto a bit of tatty old wood is "Reeva's Odd Jobs... No Job Too Odd". There is a smaller notice pinned to the front of her small table, the handwriting is a bit juvenile seeming but not totally unreadable:
- "I can lift and carry, run, swim, clean houses, sweep, mow lawns, wash windows, waitressessing, sell tickets, hold things, dance and juggle!!!"
