IC Premise
Invitation
The harvest is complete.
The nights lengthen and the boundaries thin as the world creeps quietly down to the rebirth of the light.
We at the Tomnahurich Market have lit the neepy candles in preparation for Oidhche Shamhna, and we invite the Lost to come guising with us in Inverness.

Our out of character game location is on the Darkmyst IRC server, in the #InvernessLost-OOC channel.
Premise background
The Scottish tradition for celebrating Hallowe'en is to go guising, that is, to go from door to door in disguise, and perform small entertainments for the inhabitants. If the residents are entertained, they reward the entertainers with small gifts of sweets, fruit, or money.
Neepy candles are one of the origins of today's jack o'lanterns. Scottish families would traditionally carve devil faces out of turnips, and light them with small candles, to scare away the Fae, and children going guising would carry these neepy candles (also called neepy lanterns) with them.
It should be fairly easy for any characters attending the October game in Tomnahurich to find this out.
Attendance
When a character has been cleared for play, their name will be posted below. Attending players are requested to post their character descriptions here, so as to avoid channel spamming.
Please note, visiting characters are required to display a tag: [V] in their nick.

- Character's Name

We are not requiring character sheets at this time. This is a soft roleplay event, which means that any challenges will be mediated. Please note, this should not be construed as a license to behave poorly in character. The Goblin Market has rules which govern the attendees. Characters who break these rules will be removed from the game, and the Storyteller reserves the right to not award XP to characters removed under those circumstances.
