The cold winds blow, and the remains of the golden brown leaves are scattered to the four corners of the globe. Once more the dark nights draw in around us, and the fires are stoked in the homes of those who fear the dark and the cold. As the shadows lengthen remember who we are, who we once were, and step aside to be someone else for an evening. An evening of masquerade, entertainment, and dance. The Onyx Court of the Freehold of Dunasheen cordially invites you to the Garden Mansion House of the Culloden House Hotel on the night of the 9th December 2007 for the annual Winter Formal. Please be advised this is a masquerade ball, and that you should arrive suitably attired. Due to the nature of the ball, please be advised that those fortunate to be unlike ourselves may be present, although all attempts to keep them away shall be made. Premise background

A history of the tradition of the Winter Formal will go here, when I've excerpted from the Changeling book, and written some more flavour text to round it out. I'll very likely also put in a fair bit of text about the history of the Winter Formal in Inverness, which has, historically, been an extremely Winter-strong Freehold.
