The Reports.
Unhappily Ever After is owned by a young man the regular patrons and bands call "Jack", though now and then his favorite singer girls have the joy of calling him "Calin".
Not much is known about 'Jack' except that his hair is grayish silver which is unusual, and each time they ask him, he's got a new story about how and why it's like that. They never see him pay bills, they never see any handy men, nor is the place ever unclean (except for those first 3 minutes after closing).
They say he's creative. They say he's crazy.
All and all, everyone loves Jack.

Forced to clean the floors and dry them with his breath
Job changed, forced to crawl through the thorns to collect flowers.
Keeper is challenged by another Keeper, Rayne the Heartless Queen.
Fights and kills the girl he fell in loved with, taken by Rayne when the other Keeper loses a bet. Taken to the great under dark of 'Silvia' where he serves as Quartermaster and cleaner alongside Wizened and Fire Elemental Goblins.

Sent as a Outrunner and Quartermaster to Brand's unit (Their Keeper were what could be considered as 'friends').
Slays his second Changeling. Tries to commit Suicide. Unable to (Blood does not flow in Silvia, thus he could not 'bleed out' when he cut his wrist).
Fights alongside Brand.
Returns to Mistress Rayne. Delivers things to another Keeper, occasionally hiding items for Bandy and his underground railroad.

Large battle upon a hill on a foreign plane. Brand is lost in battle (does not find him until after escape).
Wanders the field of war lost until E snatches him on her way out. Travels with them out.

Escorted to Florida to find his home by E. Found by the 'House of Cards' and his brother Gaius. Moves in and becomes a part of the Praesidium.
Fights a Gentry in Seminole county with 'Maverick'.
Defends the House Of Cards in battle against Loyalist.

Mask
Durendal looks like a young man of his late teens. He gives off a very soft and innocence from his sorrow-filled eyes, his shoulders slump downward in his over sized shirt. His fist are dusky tone, seeming to be stained by something. One of his eyes looks dead blind, white and without color, but it just proves to be color-blind in the end. There is always a pair of glasses perched on the tip of his nose, and they seem to slide, partially broken or stretched out. He seems thin, but not too much. There is a scar that rakes down the edge of his neck and goes across his heart, in times of stress, it seems to glow, as does the piercing red dots in the midst of his strange looking eyes.
Mien
His skin is very dark and his hair is made of feathers, his time in his Keeper's domain seems to have caused the color from these feathers to be pitch black and cause his skin to grow darker and darker. His ears are long and pointed, much like a classic elf, and his body is sleek and tall. Spread from his back are magnificent white wings with dark tips, they are at least sixteen to nineteen feet spread and when furled back, seem to disappear into his back. Across his chest, back, and forehead, through any clothing glows a symbol that looks like a prismatic eyes, staring, glaring and watching those that get close. The scar over his chest seems to actually have a pattern that looks like the symbol for a broken heart.
The Shimmering Cradle
If you look very deeply in the hedge of Orlando, though rarely, you may come across a Hollow covered by Spider webbing. Behind the dancing fireflies and the fluttering moths and butterflies is a grand 'Observatory'-like building sitting on a curve-up of marshland. Behind the constant pitter-patter of drizzle and occasionally rolling thunder one might find the entrance to this great 'Shimmering Cradle'.
Not much is known about the inside of the strange building, only that it is the home of the Storm Knight, Durendal. Many who have tried to enter forcefully have never been seen again, most of the time they don't get too far in before the Hedgebeast that protect the area, the massive, vicious spiders, eat their flesh.
Loyal Hedge Friends
- Archimedes The Great Spider Lord
Archimedes, Childe of Grandmother Spinnerweb, has been a comrade of Durendal ever since the Spiders settled inside of the Hedge in Orlando. Both his Mount and loyal comrade in battle, Archimedes is a great scout, equal to none of the other Spiders. He can easily be described as a giant Banana Spider. It has been commented by other members of the House Of Cards Freehold, that Durendal truly looks like a demon on the back of such a hideous creature.
- Shimmer Butterfly
The great living ship, 'The Shimmer Butterfly' is Durendal's great flying vassal, toiled over and built up from nothing. If Steampunk and Magic Airship's had a baby, it would be Shimmer Butterfly. Able to house passengers (though uncommon, as Durendal likes to travel alone) it is a somewhat large flying ship that lets out a soft pulse of air when it speaks.
- Mewl
Mewl isn't a Hedgebeast (Not yet at least), just a kitten. It was quietly mentioned that perhaps it would be good for Durendal to have a pet that would let him have something to take care of. So one day, he meandered over to the Pet Store and found a little cat to take care of. Mewl lives -only- in Durendal's home in the 52 Pick Up, and is taken care of almost religiously.
