Physical description: Of average stature, Durham is a bit of a tired looking figure - not old, but certainly not a joyful or clean look. He wears a long ratty coat, an olive green color that could easily conceal a weapon and protect him from most elements. His skin seems to give an impression of faint green coloring itself, although this vanishes in full light. His right eye is covered by a black patch, scarring not hidden too well.

Known History

Basic Timeline:

• 1953 - Born in Surrey, British Columbia to a World War 2 Veteran and his young bride.
• 1964 - Taken by his Keeper - one mustn't speak to strangers!
• 1975 - Is made a dueling partner by his Keeper after serving admirably in an army of taken servants.
• 1986 - Loses his eye in a duel against his Keeper. Is inspired by this to work harder to get better.
• 1997 - Finally surpasses his Keeper in battle and is set free - most likely due to the Keeper growing bored. Loosely becomes associated with the Summer Court in his home Freehold.

Current Activities:

• In the decade or so since he earned his freedom, Durham has been a symbol of justice in the city..when the cause or price is right. He remains with the Summer Court and even sometimes leads when the mood takes him. Durham does not seem to pay as much attention to politics as he does to security.

• Bishop Katie, a courtless Manikin humanitarian.

Enemies

• Few would dare call him an enemy - he's far too useful in his city. A bit crude - he is after all, a Wizened Soldier of the Crimson Court - but not a bad guy by any stretch.

• Some say Durham's quit smoking his trademark cigars due to constant complaints by others in gatherings of the Lost.
• Rumors also say that his alternative is almost as annoying, as he's taken to loudly chewing his nicotine gum at all times.
