Physical Description

Mask: Elijah stands nearly 6 feet tall with long tangled blond hair tied back only when it is working. His skin is a pale which accents the dark circles under his eyes as if he hasn't slept in years. His lips are full, dark and burgundy looking wine stained. The eyes that rest on his magenta luggage are hazel blotted with white of cataracts. He tends to dress in loose clothing of blue and charcoal. He often has a smell of herbal tea, dry flowers and wine. Though he is suspected to be nearing forty he looks maybe a day past manhood.

Mein: Looking thin and gaunt with a complexion of a deep blue and violet he stands as nearly 2 meters tall. His eyes are milky white as the full moon resting in sockets of deep black His hair is blond and stringy with highlights of blue and white with a damp look to it. Over his body the map of veins under his skin are dark and but visible as if his skin was azure rice paper. When he works, his bony digits dance like spider legs over the patient in front of him. The smoothness of his skin makes him look unnatural when his age and seeming are considered though if asked he retreats from probing.

Mantle: His mantle makes his seeming dull and unnoticeable but when he uses his contracts his breath becomes visible, his glasses form ice crystals in the lenses and his eyes color a light shade of blue, snow also falls in the wake of his movement.

Character History

Basic Timeline:

  • 1931 - Born in the midst of social discord in Germany.
  • 1943 - Lured away from from his bed while staying in a German medical facility set up in an old castle where he was taken. While in Arcadia he was taken by a Fae that would have him create some of the unfinished fetches before his Keeper would sell them to other Fae to use for replacing people. He also would have to care for Fae who were harmed with while in the mortal realm and would endure their abuse while he was trying to care for them.
  • 1989 - He escapes on the night of the Winter Solstice. He escaped the keepers castle at the edge of the sky by by playing the ancient games till finally he was at the edge of the sky. With out even closing his eyes he jumped toward the world unknown. As he fell he saw the hedge and the its thorns that bite and claw. This time though they did not make him bleed just weaken. He tumbled out of the cellar doors of the very same castle he had left so many years before.
  • 1991 - After making a few deals and establishing his identity of Elijah Reve he was able to attend UC Irvine in order to get his DO specializing in Internal Medicine. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Osteopathic

  • 1996 - He begins his residency at Ceders-Sinai Hospital in Beverly Hills
  • 2000 - Started his own private practice at Tetragrammaton Healing Center and has gained hospital rights USC Medical Center in Los Angeles

Current Activities: Is the proprietor of a free clinic in the heart of West Hollywood. He offers physical and mental healing for all who ask.

Background

It was a cold day in Germany, February 5, 1931. Born to a Jewish doctor, Daniel, and a midwife, Gisela, Elijah Name began his miserable life is one of the war-scared hospitals of Dresden. At two, Elijah couldn’t even notice the rise of Hitler, but by the time Elijah was 12, learning anatomy from his father in a Nazi medical facility, he fully understood the nightmare that had wrapped its horrors around him. The facility was housed in an ominous castle in Austria, and it was there that Elijah’s father was forced to perform cruel experiments on children with deformities and mental handicaps as well as the innocent children of Jews.

Kept tossing and turning by the image of blood on his eyes, Elijah stepped out of bed and tip-toed barefoot into the hall. It was a sweltering night, mid-summer, and only a thin robe separated Elijah’s sweat-soaked flesh and the stale air of the castle. As he snuck past sleepy guards and scurried downstairs, Elijah could hear the crying of children not too different from himself. But it was one voice that called out, one cry that was more painful, and it was that child’s cry that pulled at him. Once in the cellar, Elijah could hear from which room the moans called. It was dark, and silent, and from what he could see, this room was surrounded by small metal doors. He stepped cautiously in, and as his eyes adjusted to the light, he saw piles of bodies around him. They were the bodies of children. How had the stench not warned him? How had he become so anesthetized to that smell?

And that’s when the other children came. Cold light began to pour out of each metal door, and the other children pushed them open and began to pour through into the room. Each one was the size of child, only stranger, with gauze wrapped all over its blank, featureless body. When Elijah cried out, no one took notice. This castle was huge, and from almost every room, one could hear the screaming of children.

How had this happened? What had Elijah done to deserve this? The answer was nothing. It had been his father who had brought this curse upon his son.

It was earlier that night that Elijah’s father had been directed to begin an experiment on a pair of identical twins that involved perfectly mirrored torture and the ultimate execution of both at the exact same time in order to observe and record their theorized heightened experience. The 10-year-old twin girls, however, were gypsies, and for some reason that gave Daniel pause. They weren’t deformed or disabled or, like himself, even Jewish. Their only sin was being born to vagabond parents. Daniel looked down at them and then told the guards that the experiment would need to wait. He had more to prepare. Then he looked back at the twin girls and told them to make peace with whatever god they prayed to, for the inevitable could only be stalled until morning.

Very early, well before dawn, the girls used a prayer that they had mischievously stolen from their grandmother’s books. They bit their fingers until they drew blood, and with it scribed ancient contracts of summoning on the back of their prison door. Into the symbols they breathed their innocence and made the contract complete. And when the guards did not come, the whispers told the girls what had befallen the Jewish doctor’s son.
