Elizabeth's disappearance under the waves only served to confirm her suspicions that stories were based on truth and even more realistic that the world believes. Because of this, she believes that most Changelings are the things of stories, that they can be found in literature. She is a well read child, as well as having been told stories her entire existence, and is able to equate most people she spends time with to a story she has heard. Some of her correlations are:
