Overview
Alias(es): Tends to only respond to 'Ella'. That's what Lady Oneira called her.
Real Name: You mean her name from before Faerie? She can't remember that far back.
Age: Most people think she's in her early to mid-twenties.
Concept: Truthseeker. (Though some might call her a consipracy theorist.)
Entitlement: None
Physical description: Ella's appearance is, in a word, unremarkable. She's not tall, but not particularly short, either. Neither overly pretty nor dull. Olive skin, basic dark brown hair and eyes. She easily blends in a crowd, and her study of humans (in an attempt to mimic them) only enhances that ability (inadvertent as it may be). She is and strives to be simply average.
Changelings, of course, see behind the mask to Ella's mein. Still average in most aspects, her mein is unique in two ways:
First, her color is in constant flux. By "color", I don't mean to say merely skin or hair color, I mean her. If you were to cut her up to peer beneath the skin, you would see that her color - while not necessarily uniform - would be consistently Ella. Organs, blood, even food in various states of digestion would all be Ella-colored. This Ella-color ranges from deep blues, to aqua greens, and (not infrequently) to a nearly clear translucence. At times, one might even catch a subtle, shimmery glow. It is a very human trait to attempt to assign some logic or pattern to these color shifts - perhaps tie them to Ella's emotional state, for example - but in the end their only consistency is that there is none: they are random. Sometimes, the transition progresses so painstakingly slowly that the color shift is indiscernible for days. Other times, the color changes at a dizzying speed.
The second uniqueness about Ella's mein is her eyes. They are colorless, as though she has two torches in her skull.

Basic Timeline:
Many, many worlds ago: Abducted by Lady Oneira.
October 2007: Re-emerged on Earth.
Current Activities: Ella is mainly concerned with observing human society in an attempt to blend in.
Background:
Ella has now found herself back in New York City. Although she senses this place is different from Arcadia somehow, she still believes she is trapped in another of Lady Oneira’s illusions. To an extent, she is still careful of the things she says and does, out of fear of punishment from Lady Oneira. She sees humans for the first time since she was taken (and really her previous time on Earth is just a blur – no solid memories whatsoever) and is not sure how to interact with them. She has decided her duration here will be spent doing pretty much what she has done in other illusions – figuring out what is normal and mundane in this world, and becoming part of it. For it is in these ordinary places, she has found, that she is most likely to find a seam, another piece of the puzzle in figuring out what is real and what is façade. Though her newfound human and changeling companions may take this search to a whole new level…
