Overview
There are Oggs everywhere. In every town, in every city, in every state, in all manner of countries - the Ogg clan has settled, intermarried, had families, changed names - but all are still Oggs (at least by blood) - whether they know it or not. And the Gentry are very interested in them.
Changelings who have were before their abduction members of a loose and well dispersed human family line - somewhat prone to being taken by the Gentry - have returned to all places, faces, kiths seemings and courts too. This mystery has connected those who have returned from the Hedge to their human bloodline. To that end some look into the bloodline and their dissapearances, and others of the lost set up safe havens everywhere to find and rehabilitate the Changelings that return. Others still do their own thing.
Background
Given the nature of Wyrd and time beyond the Hedge, it is difficult to give precise facts about the family, let alone pinpoint exactly when the predations on the family started. What is known amoung the family is that Ogg is not the real name of the lineage, and that the trend for abduction of the human line was noticed at the end of the Second World War.
The family's orginal name is lost to history - 'Ogg' is an adopted psudoname. As it is told by Guytha - the name 'Ogg' was assumed by a Changeling before him/her/it, and done so in hommage to another of the lost who was also of the same family line. So, while members of the human family and those returned may be reffered to as 'Oggs', they may not share the aforementioned surname at all.
As to the start of the deliberate abductions of the family line - only those of the family that have shown concern for this trend really might have any idea why. Why this particular bloodline? Are they taken the same way? Is the same Keeper responsible? and many more as yet unanswered. It is supposed that the only reason the abductions were noticed is because of the organised Jewish accounting of the holocaust, but equally probably because a group of the Family may have returned from Arcadia all at once.
Since then the stream of abductions has been only one every few years or so - and far less return than are taken.

Recruitment
You could be one of the members of this extended family. Your character name need not be Ogg. You need not be a changeling, or even slightly molested by the True Fae. You may have gone on through the wooings and sharp love-bite of a suitor to develop an aversion to sunlight and appetite for blood. You may have even discovered hair in odd places and replaced the traditional Ogg drinking songs with a howl at the moon. You may have even climbed a very tall tower and come down again to do the most wonderful things. You may just be one of the many Oggs who know what's going on in the world, part of a family who know and have spanned at least 60 years. Whatever the case - there are Oggs in every aspect of life (and death), and you could be one of that vast and un-charted family.
You could also be an "adopted" Ogg. Whether a friend of the family or someone we Oggs doted on - adopted Oggs are Oggs in every right too. Some Oggs don't know of their adopted status until or even well after we start referring to them as "Our Jason" or whatever they may be called. The adopted ranks are largely Changelings returned from the Hedge that have been taken in and under the wing of another Ogg.
