Fisher-of-Men

Description
Fisher-of-Men appears as a man with the head of a fish and skin covered in brightly shining scales. The specific type of fish may change on occasion, from large-mouth bass to piranha to swordfish to a thousand more varieties, including some which no longer exist on Earth, or even ones which never did. Sometimes these changes seem to reflect his mood, but not often enough to make this a safe assumption.
The one thing that does not change is his level of dress. Fisher-of-Men wears impossible colors in maddening fabrics and textures, cut to the style of a self-important traveling showman. Some of the Gentry who have seen this firsthand wonder if perhaps his outfits are simply another attraction in the freak show, or if he actually believes he looks good in such attire.
Wonders and Marvels from the World Beyond the Hedge
Fisher-of-Men took his name both from his methods and to thumb his nose at the faith that did so much to weed out the customs and beliefs dealing with the True Fae. His method for abducting humans to Faerie involves setting out lures of various forms, ranging from shiny baubles and shells to money to even life-like simulacra of beautiful men, women, or people in need. Once his target comes into physical contact with the lure, they're stuck fast and reeled in on an invisible line, pulled beneath the surface of a nearby natural body of water.
These humans become workers or attractions in his traveling show, "Fisher-of-Men's Terrific Terrarium of Terrestrial Treasures and Terrors." In the style of an old-time circus complete with games, performers, a full freak show and beauties to display as well, Fisher-of-Men tours the underwater courts and displays what he has captured from the mortal world above the waves. Workers are occasionally sold off if the price is right and certain collectors of all-manner of mortal items have come to know that it can occasionally be worth it to deal with this unsavory character to acquire a rare piece from the world beyond the Hedge.
Fisher-of-Men holds little status and regard among the courts of the Gentry. He moves from one underwater domain to another, leeching off whatever favor he can curry with the local lord or lady. His show does provide entertainment and amusement, and truth be told, his audience finds his boisterous and loud antics amusing in their own right at times.
Past Attractions
Treasure - A handsome young boy displayed awake, asleep, at rest or in motion, made to weep or feel joy at a moment's notice, showing the audience the "flawed beauty" (as compared to the majesty of the Fae) to be found in all expressions of humanity.
