Basic Timeline and Background: In February 1981, Shannon Elizabeth Wallace is born in a small town in a wild county in northern Ireland to Douglas Wallace and Sarah Wallace. Youngest of 4. Father worked as a coal miner and her mother was a house wife, bringing up their 4 children. Surrounded by her 3 elder brothers, Shannon was soon to headstrong for her mother to handle. Try as she might, Shannon could not control the wild irish blood running in her veins and at age 10, attempted to run away. Was found a week later living in the nearby woodland, grubby but remarkably healthy. Claimed that the fairies had shown her how to survive. No one believed her of course. Shannons budding beauty caught the eyes of many a young man and they were warned away from her by her protective brothers. In her early teens, Shannon was know throughout her town as “the beauty” and “trouble”. Behind any prank pulled in town, Shannon was involved. If anything went missing, it was found at Shannon’s house. It was whispered that she had the blood of the tuatha de dannen ran in her veins.
One evening, whilst wandering along the coast at dusk, Shannon is taken by a Selkie Fae,enchanted by her long red hair and beautiful eyes, he makes love to her, binding her to him and slipping her into arcadia via his ship.
