Common Knowledge

Fragile's face and torso are made of solid blueish green glass, her arms from the elbows down, legs from the knees down, and hair are made from sharded, shattered glass of all colors, but no brown. Not a spot of brown glass on her.

She appeared out of the Hedge with Hannah and stays at her side whenever they are seen together. She is known for not speaking, even when spoken to. She tends to guesture or just not answer, even though Hannah swears she can, she just doesn't like the sound of her own voice.

Fragile seems somewhat militantly trained, responding quickly and efficently to requests or orders, mostly from Hannah. If anyone other than Hannah gives her an order she defers to Hannah or the current Season King/Queen for approval.

Character Story

She doesn't remember her past, only snow. And cold. Her first memories are of waking as she always remembers having been, torso and face made of smooth, thick glass, arms, legs, fingers, and where she knows her hair was supposed to be is nothing but shards of razor sharp, broken glass. She thinks now that He took her memories...

She is a sentinel, a guard whose soul purpose was to be a work of art while guarding Lord Oblique's Possessions, all works of art in the Keeper's eyes.

But one day they rose up in resistance and left. Not understanding why, she followed the Keeper's orders and followed them with the intent of bringing back as many as she could, tracking them to the Hedge.

But it's different there, she heard the Possesions talking about their lives before, and what they misses... parents, family... it peaked her curiosity.

She continued to follow through and out of the Hedge, confused and bewildered, but intrigued by the new world around her, she followed Hannah... and ended here.

Where here is, she's yet to define. Home was not The Keeper's house, home is not this strange new place, she has no home, she has no family nor memories of any within the snow before. All she can do is learn, all she can do is watch and listen and see what it means to be "human" by watching the Possesions and the mortals... all she can do is wait...

She is Fragile.

Rumors

• Fragile may well have been amongst the first victims the Marquis claimed, and it may have been her stolen memories he used to learn more of our world and how to move freely within it.
• Her voice has the ability to break glass, explode you heart inside your chest and make your eyes bleed, and she also sounds like a man.
• She was The Marquise's lover when he first took her because she was so pretty, and he tricked her out of her memories, and when he started using her knowledge to traverse the Human world more and more, she fell in love with another one of his possesions. When the Marquise found out about the affair, he took those memories too and turned her into glass so that she would never be able to touch anyone again, and the other possession had to watch forever knowing he was the cause of her suffering. He also cursed her voice.
• Fragile doesn't speak because her voice carries only the words of the Marquis.
