Gillian is often seen as being quite levelheaded for a member of the summer court
"Jill" as he's sometimes called, has been known to refuse bounties on those who are known to help others in need
Gillian has never failed to collect on a bounty

Timeline

Reed's actual history is a mystery, rumors say that all of his memories from before his abduction were some how traded for a far more adventurous past, what follows is his questionable "new" history

May 1635, Born to Edward Morgan and an unnamed concubine as a twin to his brother Henry
August 1644, excelled at sword play to the point that he earned the title of "tutors favorite"
May 1647, performed so poorly at small arms training, was given the title of " tutor shooter"
January 1652, Kept warm through the winter months by having his way with a particularly fetching young chambermaid
April 1652, snuck aboard his fathers ship with his young plaything, fell into the hedge mid-coitus, found out chambermaid was True Fae

the following events are confirmed as being true

Unknown Date, Gillian spent the bulk of his "durance" as companion and plaything of his "keeper"
Approximately 10 years later, Other true Fae became jealous of Reed's keeper's beauty and kindness, the ordered their minions to make frequent assassination attempts and all-out attacks
Shortly after that, Reed convinces his lover to allow him to fight the minions , she infuses him with ability to fight in an elegant manner, and makes him quick and nimble
Approximately one year later, Jill had exhausted the ranks of the rival Fae, and after months of pleading with her, convinced his keeper to allow him to strike down the spiteful Fae
Shortly after that, Reed had slain all 4 of the rival Fae, struck down in their sleep with the iconic Iron spear from the Summer court's crest
Approximately 12 years later, Reed returns from an outing to find Member of the Tolltaker knighthood standing over the body of his Lover, Jill strikes down the knight by catching him by surprise, he takes the knight's "badge" and sets out to find a new purpose in Arcadia, Gillian elects to join the Tolltakers , he becomes a squire and starts the painful journey towards Knighthood
May 2006,After finishing his time as a squire and accepting the Mantle of not only knighthood, but the title of Knight banneret for the freehold of Sacramento, Gillian steps through a dark patch in the hedge and finds himself in a rather lively strip-club "Faerie Tails", in the year 2006
July 2006, Gillian finds his way back through the hedge and on to the topsail of The Corsair's Lament, a pirate ship captained by a Changeling known as Squall
October 2007, After a few Bounties leave the crew with heavy injuries and casualties, the crew demands an explanation, the captain response " WHAT? they were only goblins, and everyone knows goblins dont count!" a Mutiny ensues, the captain and first mate are tossed from the ship and slip through the hedge into the sacramento river
November 2007, Cpt. Squall elects to use the funds from their recent bounty to purchase a vessel, First Mate Reed has a decidedly different plan, long story short, the crew now has a bountiful supply of goblin fruit, a Flying ship, and twice as much riches as they had before
Late November 2007, Captain Squall and First Mate Reed christen the ship the "Hobgoblin's Waltz" and have started gathering a crew, as well as setting up the new vessel as the Hold for the Tolltaker Knighthood, of which both are members,
First Mate Reed is currently accepting offers for bounties, and can usually be contacted by leaving a written message with the DJ at the Fairy Tales strip club

Gillian is rumored to be a devout loyalist due to his rather pleasant durance
Mr. Reed is a drunkard, a lecher, and a cheat
Jill's crewing criteria leans more towards eye-candy than skill
Reed killed his Fae keeper and sold off her riches to buy a better future and past
Gillian will often take bounties from other bounties, and kills them after payment
