Greg never went much for the whole "we're magical creatures now" aspect of life on this side of Arcadia. As far as he was concerned he was simply given another chance after buggering the first. Admittedly he had it easier than most when he came back. He'd let his marriage slip away and even took to drink. His fetch took this a step further and took to beating his wife. The fetch in jail and the wife in Kansas, Greg could start over. The fairy bit was just a side effect.

It was Martin that forged the first connection between the Driftwood and the cab company. Working his everyman charm he was able to build a relationship that continues to this day where individuals of somewhat questionable pasts are given jobs driving about town.

Greg's closest friend was Adamant, who brought him into the summer court. It was therefore a no brainer that Greg loaded a shotgun with iron pellets and went into the hedge with him.
