Overview
Hounds Of the Wayward Leash, or H.O.W.L, is a secretive group of changelings whom all share one thing in common, they were all kept by Gentry who used them for hunting. Little is openly known about H.O.W.L but it seems to be a group that helps, supports, and brings together those changelings who still feel the need to belong to a pack, and who still feel the need to hunt. Some believe there are members all across North America, they make sure that their members are taken care of when traveling through each other's domains. It is also said that a Great Hunt is held yearly for all members to once again taste the blood of prey and run with a pack. It is a means of communication and information passing to keep tabs on the movements and dealing of their Gentry keepers, and any threats that may be important. It has even been suggested that it is a secret task force coming together to hunt down and seek vengeance against the keepers they escaped.

Membership in H.O.W.L is restricted to Beasts of the canine variety only. Though mostly made up of hunting hounds, they do except other canine types such as wolves, as long as they were used for hunting by their Fae keeper.
Rumors
- H.O.W.L's Great Hunts are devious gatherings of the most blood thirsty Beast hounds who run down, kill, and then consume a kidnapped mortal.
- H.O.W.L is a group of changelings who are hell bent on hunting down the Gentry keepers that they escaped from.
- H.O.W.L is a group of Loyalist sent to hunt down changeling escapees and return them to their keepers.
- H.O.W.L members are fiercely loyal and will help protect each other from harm, dropping everything to aide a fellow hound.
