Ibarra is a young man of Japanese descent who stands 5' 7". He has greenish black hair and reddish eyes. His clothes are everyday run of the mill things one might find in any mass market store.
Ibarra's features are fine with subtly pointed ears. He wears his black hair to shoulder length and usually has it tied back. He prefers to be clean shaven. He wears a bindi jewel in the center of his forehead.

Ibarra, Shun Satou to mortals, is a mild mannered student of Asian Studies at PSU. He is considered very handsome, perhaps even beautiful, by his peers and instructors. But it is a beauty marred by a deep sadness.

The World of Men
Ibarra grew up in Portland, OR. He was raised by an extended family that included both sets of grandparents and 4 siblings.
Currently, he is a graduate student at PSU. His major is Asian Studies with a focus on Japanese language and culture.
He is known to frequent funerals and go to shrines that commemorate the dead.
Timeline
April 2003 -- Ibarra and an unidentified person are pulled from the Willamette River by a rescue crew. The young man is thought to have been deeply traumatized by his experiences and given over for public psychiatric treatment.
November 2003 -- Ibarra is released from psychiatric care and makes contact with other Lost. He swears his first Oath of Fealty at this time.
January 2004 -- Ibarra enrolls at PSU as an undergraduate student.
Summer 2005 -- Ibarra takes out his first fetch.
May 2006 -- Ibarra becomes a graduate student at PSU with a Major in Asian Studies.
December 2006 -- Ibarra gets his teaching certificate.
More will be filled in as ties are made.
Durance
There are beings that are neither angels or demons but more beautiful and terrible than either could ever dream of being. This is the creature that found and molded Ibarra into the tool it needed to play its games of Gentry politics. Ibarra knows it only as Daimyo
As for what actually happened, well, sometimes kindnesses exchanged are crueler than any physical torment. Though there was plenty of that sort of thing as well.
