History of San Diego

The Freehold of San Diego, has for decades been a safe haven for the Lost Children of Arcadia. They would travel to the city for a chance at new lives, and to seek knowledge from many of the wisest Lost known throughout the world. The city is peaceful, calm and relaxed. It is a vaction from the paranoia and the fear most Fae tend to live their lives in. It has been this way since anyone can remember. Let us pray it stays.

In 1994 a insane creature that dwells in the depths of the San Diego Library made a prediction, it was said that in the spring the Landscape of San Diego would change, that there would be a great tragedy. As of April 2007, fourteen years later this prediction has still yet to pass. The creature, Imbalm, still maintains he is right. Pray he is not.

Discription of Venue

Everyone believes in fantasy and fairy tales as a child, but eventually they grow out of it, they stop believing. You know better.

Fantasy is reality and reality is fantasy. They are separate and wholly locked together in a struggle that has and will last for eternity. You have lived peacefully in the mundane realm of your birth, and you have seen the striking whimsical beauty of land of the Others. Just as it was beautiful, it was frightening. You were enslaved, used as trophies, pets or worse. And through it all, you changed.

Somehow you devised a means to escape, alone, or with others, it didn’t matter, the beauty of your home flashing in your mind like a dream. You fought your fears and struggled through the thorns of your mind just as you did those of the Hedge.

You survived, a feat you still question yourself on how you achieved it, and you have returned. Returned to a land so different than the one you left. Striving to make a place for this new you, while hiding and running from those who kept you for so long. You have found others like yourself, found a society in which you could belong. A society, like yourself, torn between flesh and magic.

Imagination Landscape will be the Changeling: The Lost Venue based in the Freehold of San Diego. The players of the Venue will determine the History of the Venue and Political Structures during the Soft Role-Play Games scheduled for October through December.
