Timeline
- January 21 - 1985 - Born to Agata Kovalenko in Leningrad, Russia.
- 2001 - Starts taking jobs for what money she can scrounge for plane ticket and Visa to the states.
- March 2003 - Saves up enough money to fly to NYC
- April 2003 - Finds appt and part time job - Starts looking for modeling agency.
- May 2003 - Is given two months to lose ten pounds. Gets hooked on diet pills, then speed.
- July 2003 - Lost 20 lbs, gets turned away from Modeling agency, begins starving herself...getting turned away from other agencies.
- November 2003 - has lost close to 45 lbs, bringing her near 90lbs.
- December 2003 - Lost her job, friend, Jake Connelly sends her to Ohio in an attempt to get her healthy and off drugs and enrolls her in CCAD design & fine arts college.
- January 2004 - Starts Winter Quarter classes at CCAD, Meets Candy, who was modeling for her Life Drawing class. Strikes up friendship.
- 2005 - Ensorcelled to Candy...who is teaching her about passion, art and pushing to inspire "Rina to be better, stronger...
- 2006 - Taken. Keeper used her and 4 other mortals as errand/whipping boys and asassins.
- 2007 - November 23 - Returns from Hedge after "years" on the other side. Meets Darling and Pierce Priestly in Columbus.

Background:
Born January 21, 1985, in collapsing Soviet Russia. Her mother, Agata worked in shoe factory in Lenningrad. Single, Agata could hardly afford to keep baby fed and cared for. She goes hungry so her daughter can eat.
Times are very hard for mother and daughter. Agata feeds Irina full of fantasy tales of far away lands and princesses being rescued from poverty. Irina promises her mother she will find a way to give her everything she ever hoped for.
Irina begins learning how to manipulate people for food, clothing, warmth. She dreams of going to New York to be a model. She is positive this will be a turning point for her and her mother. She learns how to sew and makes her own clothing when she can. She does anything she can for money for a passport and a plane ticket to the States. Nothing will deter her from her dream.
She gets the passport and plane ticket...and flies to NYC, promising her mother she will return for her with more money than they ever dreamed of.
Upon arrival in NYC. Rina found a hostile and unfriendly home. She was empassioned and driven to make her way, however and would let nothing stop her from her dreams. She was determined to get invited on a few "go see's" for top agencies. Her first interview, with a small modeling agency, ended on an upbeat swing, with the promise of work if she could lose a bit of baby fat.
They told her to come back in two months twenty pounds thinner. She subsisted on a few apples and copious amounts of cigarettes. Her body screamed at her and she was in quite a great deal of pain...at first. Until she was introduced to cheap, easy and fast dieting, in the form of cocaine.
Her two months came up and she returned to the agency. They were afraid of her appearance, which was now edging towards unhealthy. They sent her out, saying that she "just didn't have what they wanted." In her mind, she must not have lost enough weight...and was determined to lose more and head out to other firms.
The more doors that closed behind her, the more she became determined to lose more weight. She exercized as much as she could, she often took amphetamines to help, she believed with her metabolism.
She was losing her part time job at a nearby restaraunt due to her depreciating condition. She had no money, she had no job and was soon to lose her appartment. She turned to friends for help.
One of her friends, a man named Jake Connelly, worked for a fashion design school. He knew that Irina would do better outside of NYC and away from drugs, so he pulled some industry strings to get her accepted into the Columbus College of Art & Design (CCAD), in Columbus Ohio.
He promised her that she would get a good education and he'd put her up with some scholarships, the caveat would be to stop using and to see a nutritionist. She begrudgingly did as he said, hoping that the education would get her recognized. So she packed her few things and flew to Columbus Ohio.
It was there she met an amazing model, Candy
