Physical description:
Mask: At most occasions of interaction with the lost, Jack will be dressed in the semi-uniform worn by most Sydney Summer Court - namely black pants, boots, a white business shirt, and braces. Usually he'll be carrying an over-the shoulder bag filled with food.
Mein: Jack's always present grin is slightly wider and sharper, his arms slightly longer, his fingernails harder, thicker, and sharper, his eyes blacker. The main visible differences with his mask is his hair - longer, thicker, and spotted. Strangely, the elements seem to react to his presence, curling and weaving around him - and while his mask may be perfectly quiet, his true face whispers constantly words almost on the edge of hearing.
Mantle: Waves of shimmering heat haze, the scent of dry, hot days, painfully void of all moisture. When he gets angry, he smells of burning ink and roses.

Background:
Jack refuses to speak much of his life before his taking. Anything he has said when pressed for details has usually been a very obvious lie. The one detail that he will speak of is that he wanted revenge for an injury to someone who he cared about, and when someone offered that revenge for a price, Jack took the gentleman up on his offer. Taken to faerie, with the gentlemans' help he hunted down his enemy and tore out his heart (sometimes he will claim to have eaten it). Perhaps before this, perhaps after, or perhaps with this act as some kind of ritual, the gentleman stripped away a great deal of what he was previously, leaving him with hate, cruelty, and sadism - transforming him into the form that he spent most of his time in faerie in, that of a hyena, leading a hunting pack. Jack is unclear as to how long he spent in faerie (through either ignorence, or a desire not to speak of it) before his master traded him to a new owner. Having sworn to serve his previous owner, but not the current one, Jack took the opportunity to escape and after time, and events which he refuses to speak about made his way back through the hedge.
Jack turned up some time after his escape from Faerie in the court of Sydney where he quickly joined the Summer Court under the rulership of Sean MacPherson, and was involved in the war with Winter. Following the death of Sean in his sleep, it is believed that Jack became one of the Summer Court who has not slept since.

Allies
Jack tends to treat the other members of the Summer Court in a mostly familial way. A rambunctious, loud and casual one, certainly, but a family nonetheless.
Enemies
Coming out of a war between Summer and Winter in Sydney, Jack still has a cheerfully antagonistic relationship with most members of the Winter Court - while he enjoys verbally teasing them, he is very careful to never make any physically threatening, violent, or agressive action. That'd be against the spirit, if not the letter or the peace accords. Strangely this doesn't extend to the Nowhere Man, who he seems to treat as a member of the Summer Court.

Although he tells everyone he's a hyena, and they think he's a beast, he's actually an Ogre Gristlegrinder - the Hyena possessing extremely strong jaws in relation to their body size, and powerful digestive systems is merely a cover.
Jack is always hungry. Always.
Ever since the death of Sean Mcpherson none of the Summer Court of Sydney have slept. Each of them has gotten hungrier in their own way. Jack just hasn't found how to feed his yet.
