Basic Timeline:
Born: 1991, Nashville, TN Taken: 2004, at age 13. She wandered into the Hedge on her own, believeing she was following a friend of hers (who was herself being led away by a stranger). She lost sight of her friend, lost her home, lost her soul, and found a Keeper. Without a planned abduction, no Fetch was left in her place.
Returned: 2005, Nashville, TN, apparently age 16.
2005-2007: Watching her family from afar, trying to get up the courage to return. Working her way into the TollTaker Knights.

Current Activities: Functioning as Knight Banneret for the Nashville TollTakers, Putting together a gang of young humans to function as street gang/vigilantes protecting the innocent and helpless which have been ignored by mortal society.

Background: Jane was a typical middle class child, growing up largely unnoticed in the Nashville public school system. Not interesting enough to be singled out for peer contempt, not nerd-ish enough to be tormented by bullies, not shallow enough to be a part of the school's in-crowds. Though not especially strong or tough, Jane would never allow schoolyard bullies to torture other children she saw as being defenseless. Lacking any real fighting skills, this occasionally got her into trouble. Jane kept to herself mostly, having only one good friend, Rebecca. One evening, on the way home from the bus stop, Jane noticed Rebecca ducking into an allyway just ahead of her. Coming up to the mouth of the ally, Jane saw Rebecca being led away into the early darkness of mid-winter. Afraid for her friend, Jane followed. She quickly lost sight of her friend, then lost her bearings entirely. Unaware, she entered the Hedge. Her Keeper found her there several hours later.
