Basic Timeline:

                     1968- Ken Walters born in Okinawa.
                     1986- Ken joined the U.S. Army.
                     1989- Ken joined the U.S. Army Rangers.
                     1990-1991- Ken fought in the Gulf War. 
                     1991- K.J. was diagnosed with PTSD and discharged.
                     1992- K.J. joined up with a mercenary company operating in Colombia.
                     1993- Ken was abducted by the Fae.
                     1995- Ken escaped from the Fae.
                     1996- Ken returned to the U.S. after leaving the Mercenary company. 
                     1998- Ken becomes a pistol instructor at a gun club in Brooklyn.
                     2007- K.J. finally makes his presence known to the changelings of NYC at large.

Background: Ken Walters was born to an American father and a Japanese mother. His home life at an early age was focused on the military, due to his father being in the Army. As Ken grew up, he spent alot of time alone, or with his mother. When he was of age, he decided to follow in his father's footsteps and join the Army. K.j. was an Army Ranger in the first Gulf War. After the war, he was discharged and joined up with a mercenary force working for the Colombian government. During the fighting, he was detached from his unit and sent into the jungle to locate camps for drug lords. Upon finding these camps he was to observe and then report back. On his second mission he was traveling through a very dense section of the jungle. When he pushed through, he spotted a lone figure that seemed to have spotted him. His mission parameters called upon him to take down anyone that witnessed his presence in the area. He chased after the figure and soon lost sight of them. He turned around to return to base, but it didn't look familiar. After wandering for hours, he came upon a being that offered him a way out, but it would cost him. He took the deal, but then he felt his bones snap and his muscle re-arrange. He then fainted. When he woke up, he was in a fog mentally. He couldn't remember much, only that he was a soldier, a scout. He took orders and finished the mission at all costs. After serving for what seemed like years, he started remembering. His orders seemed to make less and less sense. After receiving an order that he thought was just insane, he decided to go A.W.O.L. He fled and eventually made his way back through the Hedge. When he returned from Faerie, he found out that the merc company had given him up for dead, but that he was listed as missing, not as dead. It seems that his Fetch was listed as "Possibly captured" by the Medellin Cartel. He tried to return to work with the merc company but didn't fit in with the other soldiers. After a few months he left the company and returned to the states. When he made his way back to America, he saw that his family had moved on, his wife having remarried. His parents had died in the interim. He eventually re-established himself, finding work as a firearms instructor at a pistol range in Brooklyn, New York. While working full-time at the range, he also occasionally travels to pistol competitions and spent time learning from the experts at the Lethal Force Institute. He has only recently injected himself into Changeling society.
