  • 1948 - Born Beauty Mae Tucker on August 31, 1948 in Shelby, Mississippi
  • 1958 - Captured in broad daylight. Word of it spreads among the black population in MS causing an uproar of indignation when the police refuse to investigate the disappearance of a black girl. The Fetch is found by an independent search party two weeks later in Philadelphia, MS.
  • 1978 - Still a child enduring the torturous experiments of her Keeper, a new Changeling arrives - Caledonia. Beauty immediately takes to her.
  • 1993 - Caledonia renames Beauty and Killian is born.
  • 2003 - Killian escapes Arcadia killing the rest of her original personality, Beauty, in the process. She is 20. She meets Ae Lament and in exchange for an oath of a year and a day of service as a warrior, Ae will take her to Francis Hudson and Caledonia. She agrees on the condition that she have one year to acclimate to the new world. Ae accepts and the bargain is struck.
  • 2004 - Killian returns to Chicago and enters the tutelage and service of Ae Lament. It is Ae who fosters Killian into the Summer Court.
  • Early 2005 - Meets Orpheus Bane while traveling with Ae. The two strike up an on-again/off-again relationship.
  • 2005 - Upon the conclusion of her bargain with Ae, Killian decides to stay on permanently with Final Exit Bondsmen with the caveat that she may live wherever she wants. She moves in with her only friend, Arachne. Arachne introduces her to The Tolltaker Knighthood and Killian joins their ranks.
  • Late 2005 - Does a job for Caretaker James. Afterwards, Killian is seen in his company whenever she visits Georgia.
  • Late 2006 - An incident at Reverie involving Duma drives Killian to seek anger management help with Morgan Silver. She is with Morgan for several months.
  • Mid 2007 - Killian travels, stopping often in Georgia and Dunasheen, working and looking for a freehold in which to settle. She doesn't like any of the places she visits.
  • Early 2008 - Killian finally settles in Atlantic City, NJ - the Freehold of Reflected Light - with her "brother" Santino DiLeone.

She had been a beautiful young girl, small and dark with a mass of wild black hair. Big eyes and generous lips framed a strong nose and high cheekbones with a sprinkling of freckles. She had tiny ears that people always seemed to want to touch.

Her Momma had named her Beauty.

She and Momma walked the few blocks back and forth from Church holding hands twice a week. Beauty loved Church.

When they came for her, ripping her hand away from Momma's, part of Beauty died.

Vertröstung killed much of the rest.

He was tall and white, with striking blue eyes and hair like ripples of blue-black waves. Beauty hated him. He never let her feel pleasure without pain. She grew to gross familiarity with clamps and tawses, lashes and whips. She also grew to gross familiarity with the warm feeling that pooled low in her belly and the moisture between her legs that she couldn't explain when the pain blossomed on her skin. She would close her eyes and try to lose herself in the heat of the pain, her pleasure, her mortification and eventually her hatred.

He taught her about beauty and heat and hatred. He made Killian.

Killian killed what was left of Beauty the day she killed three of His minions and escaped to find Caledonia.

Beauty wouldn't have understood. So she had to die.

Killian was a bitch and no mistake. But neither He nor any of the Others would lay a hand on her again.

Ae had seen to that.

Mask:

Killian is small, dark and dangerously curvy. Long shaggy black hair and a slim neck sit elegantly upon a torso marked with generous breasts, a narrow waist and a flat muscular stomach. She is endowed with long muscular legs for her tiny height of just under 5'. She knows the power her figure holds and uses it when needed. The fluid grace with which she moves is equally reminiscent of a courtesan and a warrior.

She retains the shining features of her childhood though they rarely smile anymore. Her expressions vary from haughty disdain to utter hatred if she's being herself. Ae's training has taught her to be somewhat more when needed and she can recall Beauty's lightness at will.


Mein:

She has no more need of closing her eyes to call forth the heat within. Killian darkens with it, calling it up from her depths to blaze forth in the intensity and brightness of her gaze. Her skin takes on tones of cinnabar and bisque beneath the carmel of her Mask. Her hair mocks the blue-black waves of His. Her body seems to shift into smoky darkness, ephemeral but hard as stone and black as night.

It is said that when one is hunted by Killian, their last sensations are of brilliant light and burning heat. Pleasure and pain. That is, if they know of her presence at all.

  • Morgan Silver - "She's made me bleed more than anyone else I know. But I'll remember the look on her face the first time she really pissed me off. Priceless. She didn't expect to get pleasure out of pain... I'm pretty sure she considers me a problem student now."
  • Duma - "There are a number of reasons why I wouldn't suggest touching her. Not the least of which are Hush...and myself. Then there's the claws..."
  • Erised - "Lets me be the most vicious bitch imaginable, adds a little snark of his own and doesn't complain about blood or smoke....What the fuck is there not to like?"

If that changes...well I doubt I'll have difficulty calling up the wrath I feel for him. It's suppressing the pleasure that may be difficult *she smiles mischeviously* but I'm up for the challenge. I don't want to have to add him to the list, but if forced I will."

Secrets and Lies

  • Caretaker James and Orpheus Bane maintain a delicate balance of clarity for Killian. None of this trio is quite sure what would happen if the balance tipped too far either way.
  • After spending time with Orpheus Bane, Killian often walks away with injuries. She doesn't ever seem angry about it.
  • An unexplained incident between Duma and Killian at Reverie ended up in a near-death.
  • Killian is the only student of Morgan Silver's who required Morgan to step out of her comfort zone and be unfailingly cruel in her teaching style.
  • Francis Hudson is the only Changeling in the world who knew Beauty before she began the descent to Killian under V's tortures.
  • Killian will kill anything and everything that harms Caledonia - no questions asked.
  • Arachne taught Killian the beauty of killing from a distance - and bought her her first sniper rifle. Arachne smiles whenever Killian refers to her rifle, which she named Red Fuck. Killian swore Arachne to secrecy as to the origin of the rifle's name and will say only that it has to do with a red bow and fire and anyone who wants more information can fuck the hell off.
  • Killian did not escape Arcadia after murdering three of her Keeper's minions and finding her way through the Hedge as she believes. Rather, her escape is part of V's scheme to test his experiment and he keeps a full accounting of her activities so he can gloat about his success.
  • Beauty is not dead.
