The Tip Of The Sword

Name: Sir Lorcan Blackwood
Real Name: Unknown
Titles: Knight of the Briar, Lord of the Shaded Arch
Seeming: Fairest
Kith: Shadowsoul
Court: Spring
Concept: Dangerously Seductive Noble
Mask: Lorcan is a tall, slender man - slightly over six feet tall and perhaps a hundred and seventy pounds. Always well dressed, he tends to wear clothing of very dark hues - purples, blues, deep crimsons and blacks - that accentuate the angles of his body. Strikingly handsome, he has one of the most sincere, genuine gazes that man has ever known.
Mein: Beautiful and haunting, Lorcan barely stands out to the naked eye. He seems to grow more distinct the darker it gets, and fade out almost completely in direct light. Shadows seem to run and slide across his skin, but his eyes - never blinking orbs of startling blue - always remain, always intense.
Mantle: The faintest feeling of change and growth, a faint, almost inaudible but heartrendingly beautiful song and the faint smell of jasmine in the air.
Character Livejournal: Sinful Stories

Memento Mori, My Love

Lorcan Blackwood can, and has, been called many things since his return from Arcadia: murderer, duelist, knight, lord, romantic, wretch, an a host besides. The one word which truly describes him, however, few seem to have identified: shadow. Lithe and elegant, Lorcan is a man of dangerous beauty and seductive venom, ever courteous and polite even as he wields his longsword in battle.

Despite the long list of foul and disreputable deeds accredited to his person, one would be hard pressed to find an individual who could accuse Sir Blackwood of a foul temper or a discourteous tongue. Not one to speak often of his durance, his time spent in Faerie has obviously and inextricably bound his sense of self and purpose with classical notions of chivalry from what Lorcan calls a, 'more civilised age'.

Tonight Lorcan is most often found in his home, a large manor in the Midwestern United States which he calls 'The Shaded Arch'. With the notable exception of the beautiful, sprawling garden, the Shaded Arch itself has rather coldly splendid in the manner of a palace or a museum - wonderful, but untouchable.
