Lord of Near and Nigh
From Changeling Venue
Believed in before the time of Cortez, the Lord of Near and Nigh has been known by many names. To some he is Tezcatlipoca, to others Ome acatl. A diety among the Aztecs of great importance, as well among the Gentry. Many of those sacrificed to the Lord of Near and Nigh, joined the ranks of the Lost. Some were fortunate to be part of a blood sacrifice as his Priests, while others less fortunate, his teotl ixiptla, were stripped of everything, their earthly possessions and some claim even their hearts.
The Priests of the Lord of Near and Nigh would come to the people of Mexico and take from them a handsome, well cultivated man to be the ixiptla. The man would be dragged through the hedge into Faire, where an Aztec temple cast in constant night and shadow reigned supreme. For a year and a day the ixiptla would be treated like the Gentry himself. Partaking in feasts, and be spoiled with great splendors as one only dreams. On the last day, the ixiptla would be taken to the peak of the pyramid, where he would be stripped of his riches and some say his heart would be ripped from his chest. For the rest of his stay in Faire the ixiptla would serve the Gentry as a slave, and the next ixiptla for another year and a day; where the cycle would continue.
Many of the ixiptla, and Priests join the ranks of the Darklings and Elementals as their vision of Faire is consumed by Shadow and Night. Some have joined the ranks as Jaguar Beasts, though their number are much fewer.

Ixiptla
- Ignacio Itztli - Has taken to the name of Prince of Near and Nigh in some mockery of his once Dark God.
