Age: 29
Seeming: Elemental
Kith: Manikin
Court: Autumn
Entitlement:
Concept: Broken Artificer
Physical description:
His mask is one the girls often swoon over, harshly contrasting his odd, broken personality. His eyes are a smokey blue-grey and has dark hair cut short, or often bald. Mahren's body seems chiselled into that of an athlete by hands not human oft-times, and gives meaning to the words "prettyboy jock." His normal manner of dress ranges from the casual to the slick, with an emphasis on looking like he's on the prowl no matter where he goes, displaying a wealth of artistic tattoos on various parts of his body.
Mahren's mein loses none of his human good looks and is of a man carved in marble or granite with a pale cast and arcing, cobalt-blue tattoos of a metallic nature covering his body in delicate artistic style. His eyes are black orbs of onyx with steely discs for irises and his hair takes on a metallic sheen he can usually be seen wearing a necklace with an odd cat's eye pendant that seems alive, and watches the area around him.
History
Basic Timeline:
- Erik Mahren grew up in rural Seattle in the mid-seventies when the war in vietnam was heating up. At age seventeen he tried to catch his brother when he returned from the field overseas so they could forget the troubles of the time.
- In 1975 he was kidnapped, and taken into the hedge by the one who he would call master, and his body altered into the stone construct that it is now.
- Mahren escaped from the Arcadian nightmare early in 2003, re-emerging into the world near Fairbanks, Alaska with precious little memory of who he had been before he had been taken. His experiences in Arcadia left him with only his personality and flashes of faces from a life long gone.
- Sometime in 2005 Mahren met the Flowering Fairest named Daysi. What happened there was a matter of speculation, but most acknowledge it probably wasn't healthy, as Daysi fled the city soon after. (this part is still up in the air)
- Mahren stays in Fairbanks and slowly grows his influence and remains on the outskirts of politics, preferring to allow his enemies and allies to deal with each other head-on while he stalks around the outskirts, moving seemingly irrelevant pieces to get things to roll his way.
Current Activities:
Mahren is a consummate freeloader. Easily attracting women with his good looks and odd "Needs fixing" personality, he uses his ladies for shelter and support while he creeps about the outskirts of Changeling Society altering things in his seemingly incomprehensible way. Inevitably either he, or the current woman get tired of one another and break things off, and he seeks new shelter in another woman's arms. He has been described as a consummate womanizer, and skirt chaser, but not in a friendly way. Even with his reputation, though, Mahren seems to have a knack for gatting women to fall for him.
