Current History

Current Activities: Varies between deal making, illicit activities and obsessing over his money.

Merit Details: Known to be rich, have seedy underworld friends, people who can find info and a damn good lawyer somewhere.

Background: Of all the members of this freehold, I am the one who puts what needs to be done before any other priority. When I first escaped Arcadia, I was foolish, deeply immersed in the foolish nature of the emotion. It wasn't long, however, before the sacrifices of the Freehold to the Fae opened my eyes.

At the time, I was with those of a likeminded disposition, relative wastes of space that upon hearing of an unfortunate event of any concern, regardless of size or threat, would attempt to transverse way from the problem at the most expedient pace I could. Once I ceased the pointless waste of cerebral time previously occupied with my fear, I was able to act logically, and joined the court of those who dance and root in the mud.

My now obvious ability allowed me to swiftly ascend to leadership, a post I was able to maintain considerably longer than any other of our kind within the city. I ensured the necessary steps were taken, a mortal given to torture for three days, then presumed death, though logically it is not inconceivable that afterwards the fate of these entities, elevated from inconsequentiality to something meaningful, need not end with death at that time.

Despite the precarious situation, I was able to remain, a constant in an ever moving wave of chaos. I remember many faces, but few remain, having long moved on to realms less temporal, if that is where this existence leads.

Recently, I made a grievous error. My living calculator, skewed the sum, and I lost my particular hold within the gaggle of dancing colours. I remain among them, though I tell no one why.

And yet still, I have managed to balance the equation. Variables, previously contained within their boundaries, leapt to dance at the feet of chaos, and existence hung by a thread. The problem was contained, but it is clear that I must continue. The other escapees are still remnants of the insane and irrelevant myths proscribed into their being by their keepers. I alone have evolved elsewhere, to stability and order.

I must contain the chaos. I must enforce order. I must survive.

Words on the Breeze

From the Devil's Maw

  • I have prepared your funeral eulogy. Once upon a time, there was a Summer court, who mistook stupidity for bravery, and testicles for planning. Their few bloody remains lie before us, and it our firm hope that none of them ever managed to procreate, either before they were taken or after. - Response to Summer Courts plan to attack their bound fey
  • In this you are correct. I do not draw a distinction between theft and murder. Only the nature of that which is removed is changed, and the resultant complications. - Conversation with Ben, Courtless Beast

About the Madman

  • You are already old..... - Brighteyes, Fairest of Spring
  • Are you so naturally duplicitous that you must lie in the most casual of conversations? - Ben, Courtless Beast

Rumours

  • Is so weak, he was beaten up by a crippled girl in a wheelchair.
  • Why the hell is he in the Spring Court???
  • Is slowly gathering all the tokens of the Spring court, prepping to declare himself sole ruler of his own bound Fae
  • Was forced to surrender his crown against his wishes
  • Is quite, quite mad
  • Wants his damn crown back!!!
  • Sponsors and cheats in a fight club
  • It's to obvious for him to be a Loyalist....right?
  • Every month he goes and talks to the bound True Fae in Canberra.
  • Tricks any newly emerged Fae into joining his motley, an action they are quick to regret...
