Physical description: 6'2", broad shouldered and handsome with good posture. His hair is a rich auburn, more befitting and courtier of the Autumn Court, but his eyes burn scarlet and molten gold to any who meet his gaze. In his mortal seeming, he dresses fashionably conservative, like the young lawyer he once was. Beyond the mask, his eyes reveal the wrath of Sol itself, a deep passion that cannot be sated by words alone, even his own fiery oratory. A cruel scar curls around his left ear.

History

Pre-Arcadian
- 1962: Marion Wells is born in (West-Coast Location to be Named Later)
- 1987: At the age of 24, Marion graduates from Law School and begins working on the behalf of 'civil libertarian' groups and activists in the Pacific Northwest (looking for possible mortal world ties).
- June 1988: Driving (over the speed limit) down a cliff-side highway, he becomes distracted by images of a man with piercing blue eyes and shocking silver hair in his mirrors. Distracted, he doesn't see the 18-wheeler coming around the bend, nor the coil of steel that bounced from back of it before it was too late to escape it. The impact was brutal and drove his jeep off the side of the cliff. As he pondered his nigh unto certain death, the sound of canvas split by cold steel drew his eyes upward as the 'man?' with piercing blue eyes who offered him his hand, and a chance at life that he would eventually regret.
Arcadia
- Marion finds himself in the patronage of someone he only knows as 'Master'. He is used as a court performer for "Master" and while he excels in oratory, given his mortal profession, he practices in dancing and other artistic endeavors, including starting to learn the rapier.
- While in "Master's" service, he is used as somewhat of a finishing teacher for Adia as she is being prepared for the Master's lover. (Other similar ties; manners, oratory, debate, dance, singing teaching available)
- Master takes an entourage to the Colosseum to enjoy the hospitality of Marcus Julius Draconis. In the midst of the events, Master throws Marion into the pit where he fights Gaius Arctorus. He forges pledges with the spectators and the Colosseum itself (earning him Draconis's favor) to love him and help him to give a good show. He does, but is beaten mercilessly, refusing to submit lest he re-neg on his pledges. He passes from The Master to Marcus Julius Draconis.
- Marion is healed by Edria Meredith and comes into the service of Caesar Draconis, taking the name Master Antonius.
- Master Antonius is used as a court performer for his new master, concentrating on oratory, epic poetry and the harp. He also picks up the rapier again and asks permission to train with weapons outside the gladiators purview, allowing him to display his beautiful art. His request is approved and he begins training in Florentine style.
- While fighting to write his new piece for a gathering, he meets Tanith, the deposed favorite of the household.
- Still trying to write the same piece, he meets Lady Zephyr, who inspires him to write an epic lyric poem called "The Peacock and the Prancing Stag"
- To reward Antonius for his artistry, he is 'given' the peacock girl who would become Lady Zephyr for a night. He rejects this but is forced by a combination of tortures against both his and her body to take his prize. This cracks his perceptions and reminds him of his life fighting oppression in the mortal world.
- Marcus works to give his peacock girl her mind back. When he is discovered, he is imprisoned by Draconis.
- Lady Zephyr frees Marcus and tells him she will follow close behind him, but to go. He escapes, but lingers, hiding in the Hedge, waiting for the proper opportunity to escape, and for her.
- Eventually, Gaius Arctorus and his Motley push through into the Hedge as they escape. Marcus chooses to follow them, at first secretly as defacto rearguard before joining them in battle and escaping, somewhat regretfully, with them.
Life Among the Lost
- Fall 1995 - Antonius, now using the name Marcus Antonius, emerges in Upstate New York.
- October 1995 - Marcus hitchhikes to the place where he was taken. He finds out that he was pronounced dead after the his jeep tumbled off the cliff and into the ocean. He quietly spies on his ex-girlfriend, to find her happily married. Crestfallen, he returns to Rochester.
- January 1996 - Marcus is put in touch with someone who helps him get a new identity. He works in a book store while taking classes to supplement the degree that was part of his new identity.
- Summer 1996 - Marcus joins The Praesidium.
- Fall 1996 - Marcus, reinforced in his knowledge, enters into Law school. He focuses on criminal defense and corporate law (ie: contracts)
- Spring 1999 - Marcus graduates and begins working as a defense lawyer.

- Bianca Snow - Trust is an interesting thing. I trust that she can do anything she puts her mind to. I also trust that, as her lawyer, sometimes I really don't want to know what means she deems necessary.
- Die Rattenkönigin - Lawyers have often been called 'rats'. I didn't know how wrong they were until I got to know Konigin. It truly is unfair to the rats to be associated with most amongst the ranks of our "noble" profession.
- Gaius Arctorus - Nobility, thy name is Gaius Arctorus. Here is a man who will do what it takes in the name of truth, honor and what is right. I am proud to call him brother in arms and trust in his strong shoulders to bear the mantle of leadership that lies upon him.

- Net Rat - Another noble rat; a genius in his own right and a whiz with a computer. I owe him much.
- Tanith - Antonius is a brother to me. He's been the brother that supports me, and tries to comfort me no matter how much I resist. He's been the brother that elbows me in the back of the head. He's the brother that guilts me into eating. He is a brother I am proud to stand beside on the field of battle.

Rumors
- There is a band of pale flesh around Marcus' left ring finger. He must be very careful with the ring that causes it, for no one has ever seen it.
