Not even the gentry are immune from their own brutality. Master Cornoa was not the only one of his kind to prove this, but he is one of the more well known ones in the annals of his township. Master Cornoa lived in a three-story semi-underground complex of laboratories, studies, and torture chambers on the rural outskirts of a populated center of Arcadia. He spent a good deal of his time studying and categorizing the various Gentry and their physiology, learning what makes them tick, and what wracks them with pain. Many of the Gentry in his area disagreed with his barbaric means of experimentation, and he was the first they would accuse if one of the locals went missing. He is currently presumed dead. Poisoned by two of his imp retainers, and his laboratory was burnt down by angry locals. But you never know, it may have just been a clever means of escape.
Description
(The following are excerpts from Snout's logbook)
- "The subject was an elderly looking gentleman who was dressed in an extravagantly detailed custom tailored suit, all muted greys and tasteful ruffles. I normally would have passed this off as nothing more than another Halloween costume for the nights festivities, but I had seen him on several other occasions in like attire. He was a healthy sort of elderly as well, perfectly manicured and trimmed. Fresh spotless ivory skin, with the slightest dignified touch of age and unclouded grey eyes betrayed him for his decadence. This was a man who was too worried with taking care of his own body, rather than using his resources for more noble purposes."

- "Standing over me was the subject, but his physical features had altered in the most improbable ways. He was thinner, and showed more age, but still seemed to exude the air of health and physical prowess. His eyes had changed as well, such that each eye was pure white except for a small black X for a pupil."

Pets
- James "Snout" Cornoa is the only one so far who has publicly acknowledged being kept by him. He has even taken his surname as a reminder of all that he learned while under servitude of his master.
- Valeria Thorne knows who her keeper is, has acknowledged him, but preferes to keep her time in Arcadia to herself.
